Khushi ki tadap Chapter 1

Like a regular day dutta and baji were working in his room. Baji was looking over files and dutta was cleaning his gun. Aye sahib entered the room looked around the room and gave baji a stern look.
Baji: Kya huwa Aye Sahib
Aye Sahib: kya haal mana rakha iss kamre kha
Dutta: Aye Sahib kuch nahi thorde kaam ke files hai
Aye Sahib (cutting dutta off): kya thore files kamre ka haal to dekho. Papers hai to saare jahan peli hui hai aur ye dekho kaha tu kamaskum kale dutta. Pata nahi shaadi ke baad kya haal hoga dutta.
Baji: Ek dum sahi Aye Shib. Sara din Gabar Singh ki tara gum ta rehta. Koye future ke bare mein nahi sochta. Bas sahra din baji yeh kar. Baji vo kar. Baji chal
Dutta giving a stern look said: hogya
Baji: mein kya bahu mein to bus
Dutta: pata, tere nautanki katam hogi toh chalyien dher hori hai.
As dutta and baji left it was quite late. A new shipping of gold was coming. Dutta was making a very dangerous trade. He knew dealing with unmoral traders was wrong but this was a big profit.

Dutta bhao sara kaam kaatam ab jaa sakte hai

Dutta looked at the person he was dealing with. There wasn't a single ounce in his body not saying this is wrong but he kept thinking in his mind you have to do what you have to do.

As the dealers left only dutta and baji were left on the docks

Baji finally asked

Baji: bahu mein tujhse bahut izzat kar ta hai per mujhe yeh saab sahi nahi lagta hai. Hamesha ki tara mene kuch nahi kaha per aaj sirf bole ga nahi teri is soch pe sawaal be karega

Kya karege iss saab dolat shohraat ki. Jo tere paas hai.. CHUUP!! Dutta roared

Dutta have baji a stern look

Dutta: kya maine pucha kisse se mein jo kara hoon sahi ya galat kara hoon.

Baji: bahu lekin

Dutta: dher hori hai Baji

Baji was left speechless once again he knew his bahu wasn't a bad person, Not only he the only Patilwadi did. But is his obsession with making money and living a grand lifestyle be any different from tomorrow. After nearly dying will his ways of thinking and valuing life change after meeting nakusha?
