Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.

Episode 188 Discussion - EOD Summary

Filler or Thriller Episode?? Suraag doondho Mission by Dips and Viewers against RK, Rishbala getting ready to leave.

Events of the day

There was IF summary posted that RK will tell some shocking truth to Madhu and leave her at chawl by taking away her mangalsutra. This clouded the mind for many and were expecting it to happen in today's episode. However, nothing of that happened.
Madhu is getting too emotional looking at the two mothers. RK warns her not to give herself out. Dipali comes and disturbs them and asks what's going on between them. Can it get any dumber of this woman to meddle in husband and wife's talks. Sorry about my partial commentary here, but then RK says exactly the same to Dipali. He calls her kabab mein haddi.
Madhu is spending her perceived last moments with her mother and getting extremely emotional, whereas Padmini just prattles on how good RK is at convincing people and that how she was convinced to get married. She wants RK to help her in convincing Trishna to get married.
In Dipali's qtrs, sitting besides her retarded husband Sikky, Dipali is openly talking about her hero RK and his haddi wife on what they are planning and she gets up to go and ask RK.
In RK qtrs, Dipali enters and sees him pulling a luggage case. She asks him, begs him to tell her what soup is being cooked between him and his wife. RK refuses to tell her and when Dipali becomes annoying and nagging, he tricks her into refusing him to believe by giving out the actual outrageous story of his leaving the house, film industry forever.
Madhu had been standing to enter their room and Dips sees her and leaves her.
RK sees Madhu disturbed and upset. He tries to comfort her. She reasons out to him, how can they leave without telling their mothers.
RK then shows her the means. Asks her to write a letter to her mom. He too offers to do the same. Both of them write their letters respectively to their mothers.
RK gets curious over what Madhu has written and reads it aloud. Very emotional letter, but strange thing is the letter sounds as if Madhu is leaving alone for RK to somewhere and not leaving with him. As Madhu looks on distraught at RK, he gives her a warm embrace.
Next day Madhu gets up in the bed to see RK not besides her and all the pillows crumpled on the footside of the bed. She turns to look for him and sees a letter on her side table. She reads the letter, gived not much reaction. Episode ends.

Its Wednesday again...time for TRP

the TRPs for the last should have been out. But now they say its going to come tomorrow.

Now another game-changer is markets included from 4 other states MP, UP, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Producer of Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Saurabh Tiwari said, "Yes, I definitely feel that there should be some surprises. TAM meters are being set up on a wide scale and its market is increasing. So, obviously we might get to see some of the unexpected things in it. I am happy that Madhubala managed to hold a good position in the rating list post digitization. According to the feedbacks I keep on getting, the craze of Madhubala is much more inclined towards bigger cities and the new cities which have been added in the revised rating list are not much Madhubala or Colors oriented cities. So, Madhubala will have to fight it out."

okay so Dipali was talking to herself today saying that RK saying that Madhu has passed the test could have a double meaning? Could she have passed the test to become his leading actress? The she kept say to him I am your "apna" give me an inclination they might still be together.

It is so irritating the way natunki films, ST and the team is portraying this they never give us enough clues to confirm something and never enough to clear any doubts of some speculation. Going at this rate it seems like we are going to have to wait till Saturday itself to see what the real picture behind everything.

The good thing is Madhu dropped some hints to her mother today. This whole keeping everything secret thing was fishy anyway. It is as if there must have been a reason behind why RK wanted to keep everything secret. What wouldn't he want the whole world to find out that he played with Madhu's emotions? After all she slapped him and sent him to jail in front of the entire world. Or would he not want anyone to find out because it would make it easier for Dipali to get her hands on the information and start warning Madhu. Remember Dipali did try to warn Madhu a long time ago or was that also a test to see how much she has come to trust RK. That is confusing this is becoming everything could be genuine, or an act, or both.

RK tells the Dipali that he is planning on leaving forever and ever. So after he breaks Madhu's heart where is he planning on heading to the mountains to become a jogi? He also told her that he is leaving her beautiful company which has me even more scared beyond my wits that there is still something going on between them. Then why would he hid the information from her than? When he said that the human being that is a joke for being a human being who was he referring to? Because Madhu was also standing right there and that was foreshadowing. Is he joking when Dipali and indirectly telling mission accomplished in a joking way? They keep on spinning our heads in circles. Had this been a regular episode we all would have been proud of RK for finally telling off Dips.

The end just broke my heart. Thinking of the danger of Madhu's going to be heartbroken and how she is all naked of her emotions now infront of RKwhich were poured out in the letter. RK once promised to himself during the phera that he will break all her relations. Relationships and love was where Madhu drew her strengh from and were most important to her so if this is infact revenge the fact that Madhu was ready to leave her family for him would be the ultimate ego boost of RK.

Things continue to be ambiguous today...I have a hard time connecting the dots. Rk seemed more resigned than devil bent on revenge. He seemed caring enough to ask Madhu to write a letter to her mother explaining her stand...completely odd. His expression when he read Madhu's letter was strange...it did not seem to be celebrating a win.

Also it seems that RK is unavailable in the morning and somehow in the precap Madhu ends up a chawl...what was the point of letter then?

Does RK want to skip town alone?

I have to give CVs credit for keeping the plot under wraps and confusing the viewers in order to keep them hooked and guessing. Every episode is taking the story forward but it is hard to understand what is filler and what is important in the episode and how all disjointed pieces of information thrown here and there come together in the big picture.

On a different note the furor and confusion here on the forum ever since promo was released reminded me of something similar in balh forum. Apparently the promo showed the lead shot down...given the fact that the actor had just signed up for some other projects and the female lead was to choose between two guys...it seemed like a big but natural twist in the story. There was a huge hue and cry about the whole thing and almost all the articles seemed to support the death of male lead. Guess what- the lead does get shot but then he recovers...😊

mindboggling episode...i'll not sar khapao on this one after writing my review..actually dun have time for it either 😆 have to rush..

the guy is awesome yaar...mr. VD is acting as RK ...and RK is supposedly acting with Madhu and my guess is that in his acting, he's acting with Madhu 😆 how on earth are we supposed to guess WHEN he's acting and WHEN he's not 😆 we should appreciate him, he proved why he's THE superstar RK 😎 and Dips was so right about him, ke he's a good actor but not his biwi...uski aankhen hi sab keh deti hai 😆well, today was a much better episode than yesterday...mr. RK was looking handsome and dashing and he shined throughout the episode with his glaring looks and acting..

his dialogues with Dips r awesome 😎 "pati patni ke beech ki baat koi breaking news toh hoti nahi" 😆 he took her away, the lunch was skipped, both of them in diff. rooms, Madhu with her mom and RK with Dips...

vaise, i've never seen a cuter vamp than Dips how innocent of her...she knows something is cooking between RK and Madhu n wants to know..and what's the best way ?? ASK RK 🤣 so get the Madonna chaap aankhon ki dawai and some medicine for her brain also is required..RK told her everything but she thought he's joking 🤣👍🏼 too good , their scenes together !

Madhu & Padmini's scene was okay...RK-Madhu scene was also cool...chalo, itni samajh aayi Madhu ko ke they should at least inform their mothers...so both of them wrote the letters...someone disturbed me toh i couldn't hear Madhu's letter which RK read out...i'll watch the repeat n then comment on it...

precap itna sar ghumane wala hai ke better we dun discuss it...how did Madhu land up in the chawl? and this is after mandap or she's going to mandap? and what cheapo saaree is she wearing? i dun think they will show tht promo wala set...two, Dips will make a big deal out of letter but AT LEAST NOW , the truth is out, both the moms know what these 2 were planning..the plan is obviously halted..drama baad mein hoga..

now for main question.. story 100% chakrane wali hai...till the time we get to watch tomorrow and day after's epi, we can never guess what they r trying to do...to keep myself sane, i'll ASSUME ke RK was serious about his plan of exile but changed his mind at the last moment keeping Madhu's sentiments in mind...and i'll reiterate that he is NOT taking any revenge, he has something big going on in his mind n what's the fun of watching it if we guess it? it should be unpredictable...most prolly , the big twist is NOT revenge but Madhu's entry into Bollywood...goodbye 😊

I enjoyed the episode ... I know many won't agree with me but in these 2 days I have vented at everyone and now I can wait patiently for Saturday. To hell with all the negative media!

The beginning was good. I always enjoy Dips being pushed back .. When she said "Rishtey mein hum tumhare .." I couldn't help but mentally add "baap lagtey hain" 😆 These dialogues are just so iconic, I can't help myself. 😊 As far as that "Apna" dialogue goes, RK seemed to be daring her to finish the sentence.

Madhu and Padmini's conversation was quite good. Padmini waxed poetic about RK, his good qualities and all that he has done for them. Are the CVs trying to tells us to hold our horses about RK's revenge saga or is it just to make the end impact that much more strong?

Madhu's expressions were sweet. I get the feeling she was more focused on hearing her mother's voice than on what Padmini was saying.

Padmini said "RK kisi se bhi kuch bhi manva sakta hai." True. He almost always gets what he wants. Hint for us?

Dips and Sikky .. there is no hope for this man. Is he really so dumb that he can't see that Dipali is not interested in him?

RK and Dips .. There was no indication for me think that they are together. I couldn't help but smile when he tells the truth and she takes him to be joking. But then again the joke may be on us, if what Soundarya mentioned in yesterday's episode thread is considered.

RK and Madhu write letters of farewell .. sweet really. But I so want to know what RK wrote in his letter. It must be noted that he first addressed the letter to "Radha Kundra" and then cancelled it to write "Maa". So either he has yet to completely accept her back or he was faking it.

When this scene ended it was almost as if the epsiode ended. The shot was just cut that way. Was to create an impact? To make us focus on that image of them hugging?

When Madhu wakes up, the pillows on the bed are not arranged properly. Was it a blooper? Again a letter. This is the third letter that RK has written and we don't know whats in it. But this one will most likely be talked about, I think. It would maybe tell Madhu to spend some time in the chawl, etc.

The precap .. Madhu tells Padmini the truth and Dips finds out the truth by reading the letters.. Not surprising in the least. The minute they started the letter writing I knew someone would read it before time. The only question was, who would?

As far as Madhu's confession to Padmini goes .. I thought that all the emotions would be too much for Madhu but then again it could be her imagination, too.

Lastly, kudos to VD! Must be difficult to act so totally ambiguous. After all his every action, every expression is being scrutinized so much. Even the wrong twist of his lips will cause a frenzy. Well done. 👏 👍🏼

Okay my heart beating was high as if I was watching some thriller movie. Seriously !!!!!

Anyways I have two observations:

Why Dipali is still the shameless idiot..."Batao Na RK, Batao Na RK"...It is not sounding as if she is an obsessed ex-gf for RK...but more like some young sib asking the older sib...Tell me na, Tell me na ...kind of. Do stalkers behave like Dipali ???? I need to check with some of my buddies. I think they behave like that and ask monotonous stupid questions.
They did not show how RK addressed Radhaji. And on envelop, she is Radha Kundra. 😕 How the hell that happened?? Wasn't she Radha Bhatia ??? 😳😕 😲 And he struck that off to Maa to ape Madhu.

I have one question:

Why did the "nafrat ki deewar" (pillows permament wall) suddenly convert into heap of pillows at the foot-side of the bed. Why O Why ?

My dear Watson!!! The plot thickens!!!

There is no way I can write a full review on today's episode. I will mention only bits n pieces that caught my attention.

1.Padmini's RK jaap, 'RK ki baat ko koi mana hi nai kar sakta' , starting off under the pretext of Trisna's marriage, was 👎🏼 Absolutely unnecessary if you think logically. The lady has not even had a proper convo with her SIL, and suddenly this RK jaap. Only to build anticipation and to rub salt on the audiences and Madhu's wounds once he plays out his revenge drama.

2. Madhu is definitely feeling very very emotional leaving her mother behind. I was feeling very sad for her.

3. Hows does Deepali have the nerve to still intervene so much in RK and Madhu's life? Whys is she still using the word 'APNE' for her and RKs relationship? As much as it hurts me to admit this, I have a strong feeling she is somewhere a part of RKs plan. Otherwise, it makes no sense to me as to why RK cannot dispense her, and becomes so vulnerable in front of her.

4. They write letters for their respective mothers. RK gets to read Madhu's letter.. but vice-versa does not happen. Also, letter to Radha is addressed as RADHA KUNDRA not RADHA BHATIA, and he changes it to MAA only when Madhu notices..Again, drama added to give us sleepless nights? or no? Something really fishy?

5. Where did the pillow wall vanish?

Now, I read a post in main forum saying that if this is RKs revenge plan, Madhu was also playing along and it was her plan as well. I don't know what to make out of it. But I will take it happily. SPARE us this HORROR and dikhado ke dono miya-biwi are once again set to destroy each other, as it was shown when they initially got married. That way, at least we don't have to be emotionally involved, and we can watch all the drama for pure entertainment. Because as of now, the show is getting too stressful for me.

As for the media articles saying that RKs revenge plan is to push Madhu into bollywood, I still don't understand how revenge fits in if he wants to take her to his film world. He can take her aise hi, and she definitely will agree. Why does he have to do revenge drama when he loves her, and when he knows she will actually do whatever he says?
