I think most of the folks here won't take a slap from anyone! It's important to protest not jut in real life but everywhere you can. People must realise its unacceptable... It's NOT JUST A SLAP...

Well, for their sakes, I hope not! Whatever my differences might be with anyone, I don't want any human being to face any sort of physical or mental abuse. It's traumatic to say the very least.

Yes, it's just a show. But one that thousands of people watch. And entertainers have a social duty to portray sensitive issues in a responsible manner. Watching physical manifestation of anger directed towards another living being irrespective of whether that being is at fault or not isn't my idea of enjoyment. Can't watch it in peace.

It's not about what I want or what you want, it's about what's the right way of portraying something like this. He didn't do the right thing in slapping her. He had every right to be angry.

Now that the deed is done, how can set a wrong, right?
