Do younger siblings always have it easier?

It is often said that the younger sibling of a Bollywood star has it much easier in the industry. They follow the road paved by their older sister or brother and don't have to fight as hard or work as hard to get there.

Do you agree? Do younger siblings always have it easier?

From this list only kareena is successful. Others have all failed so not all younger siblings are lucky.

No... Its actually hard for them to match upto the success of a successful sibling. Too much pressure, expectation on them. Unless they are really talented, its hard for them to have the same kind of success.

Other than Kareena, almost all the siblings have failed compared to their older sibling... Eg: Soha, Bobby Deol, Shamita, Tanisha, etc...

Only kapoor siblings except rajeev kapoor have been successful.Rest all have failed.

Not true at all. Kareena is the only successful one, and it took her yrs to get where she is today. She was a major flop when she first came to BW.

It's only true in Kareena's case. And I find Kareena to actually be a better actress than Karishma.

It just gives you initial connections. After that its actually harder for them to match up to the expectations set by the elder sibling.

Kareena is the only one who not only matched up, but went beyond her elder sister.
And I think that's had a lot to do with the fact that she's completely different from Karisma, in terms of both acting and looks. So I doesn't look like a duplicate of the original.
