I actually took that statement as a very normal statement and said in context to what Veena said. if I dig deeper into it then to me 'sidhi hi sirf mere layak hai' means Sidhi is the best...dosent every one want the best for themselves😆 at least what they think is the best.😉 also Veena kept asking KC to marry R🤢 in the past so one can also assume that he told Veena once and for all that 'Sid it is for me'

In the context of things the response was apt... Veena was saying that Siddhi thinks woh Kunal ke layak nahi hai... To which KC replies, Sirf Siddhi hi mere layak hai... and the gleam and confidence after that was because he had a plan to win Siddhi over...

That was my interpretation!

Ok fine KC would have just responded to Veena's 'Ki woh Kunal ki layak nahin hain' , I get it , that could have conveyed 'Siddhi is the best' but I somehow still feel the usage of 'meri layak' in his response was not appropriate! I would have prefered to have him say ' Scars no scars , she is the only one for me' no reference to 'worth' or anything😉.Because when Siddhi is wondering if she is worthy of Kunal , ideally he should be wondering if he is worthy of her too , its not like he has been 'purrfect' all these years either😉!Both have been equally pathetic!😡

I would have liked it if that scene dealt with some introspection from not just Kunal but the Chopra's too!😕

Chitra its not just 'mere layak' Veena says 'usse lagta hai ki woh kunal ke layak nahin hai'...so he ays ' woh mere layak nahin hai...Ma agar iss duniya mai koi mere layak hai toh sirf woh' layak word came from veena refereing to what Sid has said to her and then he goes on to say ki kaan pakad ke lana chahiye tha...aisa koi karta hai kya...mere samne nahin aayegi...suna hai pyar main log pagal ho jate hain magar iss haad tak 😆 etc etc so on the overall I (my take) is he means i dont care for her scars etc

Sid is wondering if she is worthy of him or not coz of the scars not coz of her mistakes😆 Kunal ko abhi chot nahin lagi hai (this is for the characters only) but yes both should be wondering what exactly they have done or not done for each other and has those things benefited them in any way. hope they both learn from their past mistakes and plan their future together😃
