Anu – I fully agree with you. I was so much in dilemma before this part because I always wanted a legal route for Rahul but Geet's past stopped me from going down that route. I am not sure if I will revisit Rahul's punishment again or not…but maybe after her family issue is handled.

Remya – Well Geet did stand up to him but in a different way. Yes she did not confront him herself but then I never wanted a direct conflict between her and that man. I wanted Maan to step in take care of him in his own way which he did. But that does not mean Geet lacked the strength. She did speak about it albeit with help of Pinky, Adi and Maan. Also, this update will show her frame of mind better because I do not think trauma of such an incident leaves so easily. You also have to consider her past scenario. A girl who has been battered her whole life. For such a person, doing what she did itself is amazing. Well, that is my POV and I hope you will agree as you read more.

Chapter 21 - Puch rahe hai puchne waale

Meanwhile, Geet finally convinced Pinky to go office as she was well now. She assured her

Once Pinky left, Geet roamed around the house, arranging and cleaning it. But soon there was no more work to do and she sat down on her bed.

Like a reel, events from that day started playing on her mind. But they were not alone. There were some more things in her past which intervened and meshed the memories together.

A thunder rolled outside and she heard rain drops falling outside reflecting her pain. As she looked at the darkened sky outside, her eyes fell on a string of ghungroo kept on her study table.

There was no music but her bleeding soul sang the song which only her ears could listen. Her hands and feet moved and she started dancing as her pain poured out just like the rain drops outside.

Flashes of sword glared and blinded her in the night as she ran. Suddenly a knife hit her leg and she fell down.

Rain drops outside muted her voice

Then she went and fed a ladoo to her daarji and smiled at him cheekily

Her father made her sit on his cycle. Dressed in an orange suit and with two pony tails she maneuvered her cycle inside the house with her father tailing her by side.

He took her around the fields and then to tube well where she splashed water on her father

She sat down with a thud and sobs rocked her body. She huddled together as if she was in the cupboard….without realizing that her teeth were chattering just like that and with the same fear.

Another thunder rolled and a flash of lightening blinded her eyes for a moment making her startled. She was almost drowning back in the dark abyss when she heard him…her Maan sir

She saw him stretching his hand to her and she held it and got up. She smiled as tears flew down her eyes
