Finally, it's time to celebrate FOOD. Yes, MasterChef is back with season 3. If you are bored of typical Saas Bahu drama and intense shows on television, this is the best show for you. And the best part is that the more you watch it the more you crave for food Delicious food to be specific. It is a great platform for those who cook food and who would like to showcase their talent in front of the audience. This show provides a unique chance to learn from various experts on the show and also rewards the winner of the show. So what's new about "MasterChef – Kitchen ke superstar" Season 3? Before we move on to the details, let's look at the first two seasons.

The first winner of MasterChef India was Pankaj Bhadouria, a 38-year-old teacher from Lucknow. She runs a cookery show on Star Plus. The judges for Season 1 wereAkshay Kumar who worked as a chef in Bangkok before his acting career, along withChef Ajay Chopra who is working as an executive chef at Goa Marriott Resort, Goa, andChef Kunal Kapoor an executive chef at Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon. Whereas Season 2 was hosted by Chef Vikas Khanna a well-acclaimed chef in New York City, Chef Ajay Chopra and Chef Kunal Kapoor. Season 2 was won by Shipra Khanna.

Season 3 will have Chef Kunal Kapoor and Vikas Khanna just like season 2, but this time they will also have the 'Baap' of cooking, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Yes, he is considered as the biggest food icons in the country. He is a well know household name and is credited to bring in the concept of Cookery shows on Indian Television. Did you know that his show Khana Khazana, is the longest running show of its kind in Asia; it broadcasts in 120 countries and in 2010 had more than 500 million viewers. Awesome stuff right. So do you think that the competition will get even tougher for the contestants? Well, time will only tell if that happens. But it will be really interesting to see all these 3 judges on the show for the first time. So moving on to the show, the auditions were done across the country and they just had one message for the participants – "Banaiye apne ghar ki pehchaan ko desh ki shaan."

News is that this time, the MasterChef team has gone one step ahead to give the show an international look, but there will be a desi touch too.
