Those who watch Nach Baliye closely will observe that before every performance, the couples huddle up and murmur some words or do a hi-five to boost their confidence. An insider from the show revealed that most of these jodis indulge in some whacky and interesting behaviour just before hitting the stage. Here's a look at the games they play!

Gurdip Kohli

Our choreographer just wishes us luck. I think it really helps us both get in a completely positive frame of mind.

Bakhtyaar Irani

We say a simple little prayer. Unlike others, we don't say 'crush it' or 'let's crack it'. We believe in actions more than words. Mini shows us a thumbs-up sign and we go on to the stage. I think the fact that we remember the Lord before our performance speaks a lot.

Manav Gohil

We just compose ourselves, close our eyes and say a little prayer. After that, we just say 'chak de phatte' and hit the dance floor!

Raja Choudhary

It is very important to be relaxed and in a positive frame of mind just before going on stage. That is a very critical time for us.
Moments before going on stage Shweta, our choreographers and I say out loud, "Do well and just be brave!"

Gauri, our choreographer Arvind and me hold hands, and we stand in a circle. We all say a silent prayer and then Arvind tells us 'give your 100 percent and all the best'.
