Kokils's reaction was just ridiculous.

Gopi was lectured to like a slave. Shea's cooking in her own kitchen, in her own house and was not even free to burn a dish she was making. Kokila even warned her not to repeat it. That was just too much.

I hated the scene and wish the the CV's never show such repression and 'harassment' again.

Otherwise good episode. Rashi will now get a taste of her own Kalakari's at the hands of her own mother and will probably start trusting her less.

She may also realize the amount of work it takes to raise a child and decide not to ave one.

Either way, Rashi is suffering for all her misdeeds. That s nicely shown by CV's.

Totally missed Kinjal and Dhawal today. We need a full episode of theirs, maybe even a mahaepisode. I wish...

Mary Ann.. I disagree about Koki and it is not just because I like her. Even in my house when we youngsters make mistakes like spoiling something that is being made or say over cooking something we are admonished for being careless. A part of the strictness is to make sure that the youngsters understand the seriousness of the mistake and correct it going forward. There is nothing wrong in that.

Although we as viewers know that Gopi was not at fault, it was not apparent to Kokila or the others. What Koki did today was to correct Gopi and tell her not to make the same mistake again. Apart from the fact that the rice was spoilt it also meant that Gopi's time, her work was wasted due to the carelessness. Ahem would have to remain hungry longer. It means cleaning the utensil and making the rice again. That is why Koki does not want it to happen again.. Further the admonishing was also to make Gopi understand that carelessness and kitchen is highly dangerous. Today it is just burnt food, what if the carelessness had been more costly.

Another point.. When some elder corrects youngsters it does not amount to harassment. Rashi's lack of such discipline is the reason she is the way she is. If someone had taken the time and energy to correct her when she could still be corrected, the Modis would have been so much better.

On the other points I do agree😊

I get your point and understand where your coming from. I probably come from a different background and upbringing, where we accept elders correction and guidance but there is a way of giving that correction and guidance. Parents explain rationally and kindly. They don'tyell, shout, warn or go over the top for simple day to day issues, which are bound to happen.

That's just my opinion Harini.

I do understand Mary Ann. I have been on both sides of it and hence the defense 😊.. Over the years I have come to understand the love that is hidden behind those harsh words. The generation gap comes to play when it comes to understanding those like Koki.
It is hard to digest her words especially in the way it is spoken but those words usually mean more good than any harm

I partly agree with you Harini
Kokila did nothing wrong by scolding Gopi, it was right to correct while youngsterss doing wrong but the point i don't like is she offer to cook the rice again its not right, she should have left to Gopi to do that, may be she ill overcome her guilt of spoiling the rice

But it was just a pot of rice. Not leaving the gas cannister unattended. I don't think that Gopi was being careless. She was being dumb, no doubt hanging on Rashi's words but careless? No. But as Harini has said here (or somewhere else) we are privy to the true events. I do think that Koki was a bit over the top and she will be hard on Gopi once again. I would like to think that this is a build up to the next track where old issues will come to the fore.
And on top of that. Why has Hetal not said anything? Goldfish!!!!!

I am going to side with mary ann on this one. Scene was too reminiscent of the old koki gopi relationship. And how i hated that! Defo do not want to go back down that road!
