Shashi-Sumeet Mittal's Punar Vivah on ZEE TV was launched with high hopes and a powerful star cast.
But after acquiring the number one position on the channel, for few episodes the show has been struggling to gain TRP's.
However, it seems the upcoming track will give the show a new lease of life as we hear that Gurmeet is all set to tie the knot with new entry Ishita. The makers have roped in Heena Parmar of Haar Jeet and Main Lakshmi tere Agaan ki fame to play the role.
A source close to the show inform, "Punar Vivah is heading for a dramatic twist as the kidnapper who has abducted Ansh, Yash ( Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti's (Kratika Sengar) son has put a condition before Yash to marry Ishita (Heena Parmar)."

Another source says that Yash however will not get married to Ishita and Akshay Dogra, the illegitimate son of Suraj Pratap Scindia (will end up getting married to her.
When contacted, Heena said, "Yes am doing the show but I can't comment anything on my role."
