I knew I shouldn't give up on Supernatural. Finally everything's back to the way it used to be between the brothers.. Dean saving Sammy.. we even heard the so familiar line... Sam's all the family I've got.

Did anyone notice how similar, actually pretty much alike the boys' actions were in the beginning when Henry falls out of the closet? The same gestures, same reactions. Exactly the same. Oh, I love these brothers.. Finally they're back to what they use to be. The way they always used to be on the same page.

Now we know John's history... I was counting on them explaining away Henry being a hunter, or rather a Man of Letters. That concept is brilliant... how these men study all the supernatural things and share the knowledge with the best hunters.

It's just so sad to see how much love and loyalty the Winchesters' have for their family but they keep losing the one person they love the most. John lost his dad. Henry lost his son. John again loses Mary. The boys lost John... 😭 I thought this would one of the episodes where the show's been running for 8 seasons so they're at their wits' end trying to come up with something new to keep it going, but surprisingly, this episode kinda completed the circle. Sam mentioned towards the end about why the Heaven tried so hard to bring John and Mary together... Winchesters and Campbells... the brains and the brawn.

It's also amazing the sort of fierce loyalty that runs in the Winchester family... Grandpa Campbell ditched the boys claiming he doesn't really know them and here we have Grandpa Winchester taking on the 'ugly' for the boys he just met. My eyes were moist towards the end when Henry dies... And poor John.. grew up thinking his dad ditched him when all he was doing was saving the world.

BTW, Devil's trap carved in a bullet. That's a new one!

Loved what Henry said towards the end, "You're Winchesters. As long as we're alive, there's always hope." Also, "I didn't know my son as a man, but having met you two, I know I would've been proud of him.

From this one episode, I'm a Henry fan. Definitely one of my favorite side character... "Alpha, male monkey friend" 😆 Now we know where Dean gets it from. 😛

And our Dean got some AMAAAZING lines after sooo long!

"Dude's time traveling through motel room closets, that's what we've come to?!" 😆

"I'm a little rusty on my boybands.. Men of what?" 🤣

After Henry just holds the cellphone and says "Operator, I need Delta 457," Dean's response, "Who are you not calling?" 😆

One more excellent episode!! Can't wait for more.

First thing's first, I see the show making a comeback. And I can't tell you how happy I am about that. :D I was pleasantly surprised by the episode as I didn't really expect them to give us any lead as of now. Like a friend said to me, the episode was all kinds of WOW. It tied all loose ends about the Winchester and Campbell bloodline, gave an insight as to why Heaven tried so hard to bring John and Mary together. The whole Supernatural mother lode-mytho arc in addition to closing the gates of hell arc couldn't have gotten better. Needless to say, it makes me excited to what's gonna come up.

Henry Winchester is sure going to be in the list of my favourite characters too, he's got that streak and he tugs at your heart. After all he happens to be is a Winchester. Its in the bloodline, I suppose. I loved the whole grandfather-grandsons interaction. You can see even though they hadn't spent much time with each other, they instantly formed a bond. Its really heart-wrenching to see that the whole Winchester bloodline is always at loss, each of them keep losing their loved ones. And I am forever gonna hate the creatives for that. :( But isn't Warriors all about that? About working for the greater good. 😳

Also, I know where Dean gets his humor from. Looks like bloodline shares a lot of things than just being hunters/keepers. 😆 I need not say anything on Dean-Sam, their brotherhood is epic. <3

My alpha male monkey friend' lol i like Henry Winchester man!!!!!
the Winchesters man ...i am bundle of to many messed up feeling at the moments...
the Champbells and winchesters..the brawns and the brains *sigh*
Earlier i have been a bit pissed off at John, cause..well he wasn't the exactly a good father * yeah circumstances made him like that * but still...not i am not..That guy woke up to never see his father again... i could remember the words..Sam telling him that he was never there for him today..and well...
I tell you i loved the interactions between Dean and Henry..
And the whole 'Men of Letters' thing ok, my expression was exactly like Sam and Dean when he was talking about all that stuff. And i liked that whole 'Knight of the hell' part..like for heaven there are Archangel for the Hell there are Knights... ok i am feeling kinda sleepy right now..so yeah till then RESERVE for the rest of my rant :P

***un-res actually :P***
And Dean is back to doing his duty, which is protecting his brother..Sam is the only family I have got *sigh*
The whole Men of Letters concept was very interesting, also the knight of the hell ...its a new dimension...looking forward to see what actually does happens with the key..
DEVIL'S TRAP CARVED INTO A BULLET THAT IS THE MOST BADASS THING EVERRR!!!!
AWESOME EPI!!! ok now add me to the fan list of yet another Winchester :P
And there is a reason why supernatural is a show which i love, and THIS is the reason...SPN is awesomeness

Great reviews everyone!
What a fantastic episode. I got the early SPN season feeling over the epi. Great introduction to Henry Winchester however SPN never fails to give a big dose of angst. The ending was heart wrenching!

That was a truly fantastic episode!

And Henry has quickly become one of my favorites as well. The ending was sad. I just felt teary when Henry died and the boys buried him.

And I loved Dean's line about saving Sammy. In the end, they are all each other has.
