Anurag Sharma rose to fame with the role of Satish in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV. The Marathi character that he played in the show has not only helped him to showcase his acting talent, but has also worked wonders on his career. And today, the actor has bagged a Marathi film which will be directed by Deepak Bhagwat.
The film which is tentatively titled Punar Janm revolves around a little girl and the trials that she faces in life. Anurag has been roped in to play one of the central characters who will play an important part in the girl's life.
When contacted, Anurag told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, it is true that I have been finalized for a Marathi film. After Pavitra Rishta, I wanted to be part of a Marathi movie. And my dream comes true with this role. This is the first time that I will be doing something in Marathi. I will try my best to learn the dialect and give my best shot."
Anurag who is otherwise from Allahabad will start shooting for the movie from 3 February (2013) in Pune, India.
