What happens next:

Yash: Inspector I injured the kidnapper's leg when he was trying to escape.

Inspector: Which leg are you talking about? Right or left? Which part of the leg did you strike him? Near the groin, on the thigh region, at the knees, calf muscle, ankle, feet or toes. Oops !! sorry I was supposed to play the doctor in this episode but at the last minute the casting guys made me wear this uniform. Anyway ...please give us more information.

Yash: Alright. See I took the glass bottle and calculated the force required to hit the target ' keeping in mind the projectile motion of the bottle, effect of gravitational force on the bottle and the speed at which the kidnapper was running away, I reached the desired figure at the end of the two page long calculation and threw the bottle finally. So I am sorry but I did not notice anything else.Not even his uncovered face. I was just too glad celebrating the clean strike. Do you want to see my victory dance btw?😎

Inspector: No thank you.

Yash: Hmmm... how about we check the hospitals in the nearby locality to ascertain if anyone has come with a leg injury?😃

Inspector: You are smart. Do you by chance have any experience in case solving , sleuthing and that sort of thing?😆

Yash: HA HA HA I do not want to brag...but I took a bullet to save my son once already from kidnappers(he is sooo cute that he keeps getting nabbed), helped a politician daughter escape from an unwanted marriage, I fought a goon called Lakhan who is now MIA and even saved my sister in law from getting hanged. So yeah... I am the best. And by the way my wife calls me SUPERMAN.😎

Inspector: Sir... I was just being sarcastic...anyway as illuminating as your resume is let's not waste time and hunt the hospitals pronto. Come.
