Firstly I totally back up silver wing's petition to stop the chaos going on in this forum. It is seriously going out of hand.
but seriously for those of you who take name calling as a habit..here's some words for you.
1) for those of you who call others fat: I would love to actually see how many of you would with the chance given, have the courage to take on a stage and go under training to dance in public and not fear of being criticized for any physical attribute. I honestly wonder how many models of perfection (though it doesnt exist) in this forum and what gives them the right to call any one fat, black, etc.. If you have watched the original version of the show (dancing with the stars), or its rival version (so you think you can dance) You'd actually find many plumpy female dancers who swept the stage away and were commended on their performances. the fact that someone is a non dancer, and has taken the challenge with determination to learn, and change what they can that in itself is commendable. and I don't believe any one is in a position to put someone down like that..look in the mirror before judging others and see what people would say about you.
2)for people calling others hypocrites, paranoid, and other forms of degrading language: their vocabulary is totally out of context , and their lack of ability to be constructive and take on the aggressive/defensive shows a weakness of character, how do you define a hypocrite? how many times did you do/say something that was against your beliefs, or you simply changed your mind, or you had a preference that wasn't common. Id find a lot of people in this world are hypocrites if they work and act upon their self interest-human nature? however, it gives no one the right to stoop to the level of pointing fingers and calling names, because it takes away from you, and shows weakness of character, that you are indeed unable to involve yourself in a discussion without being rude!
3) for those who complain about rivarly: they called mona fat, they called Shveta a bad person, before jumping to your guns..read the posts! the person who called shveta a bad person was Akashdeep, people read the article posted and commented on it, some in a less favored manner than others. The ones who called Mona fat were the people from the rival network star..people again took advantage of that and started a ruckus.
this is a forum where we can share views and information, it is up to our reasoning and moral conduct how to deal with them. at the end of the day it is upon the individual effort to make it a constructive discussion where different views COEXIST.
