who can play David Headley?

After RGV's The Attacks of 26/11, Sunil Bohra now is planning a movie on the horrific incident

As soon as the perpetrator and mastermind of the 26/11 attacks, David Coleman Headley aka Daood Sayed Gilani was sentenced to 35 years of imprisonment by the US court yesterday, Indian filmmakers are already getting eager to make a movie on the subject.

So after Ram Gopal Varma, it is producer Sunil Bohra who has joining the bandwagon. The producer has bought the rights of journalist S Hussain Zaidi's book that the scribe wrote along with Rahul Bhatt titled Headley and I for Rs three crores, and he now plans to make a film on the events leading up to the deadly attacks.

But what is interesting is who would be willing to play Headley's role, considering the case is still hot, and the public still angry! Rahul Bhatt, son of Mahesh Bhatt, who unknowingly struck a friendship with Headley when he was in Mumbai is ruled out of the film since producer Bohra said the young actor has already been through a traumatic experience.

Other actors who might be considered for the role are Aditya Pancholi, who resembles Headley, as he is middle aged and light eyed. Even Sanjay Dutt could essay the role, though the actor is a bit old to suit the character. Or even Sunny Deol for that matter, considering the Jat actor is fair and his body structure too resembles Headley who was a bodybuilder.

But the question that still remains is whether these actors would agree to play the part. With the levels of hatred running high against the 26/11 mastermind, any actor who plays Headley will definitely think twice about how that might affect his image. Who would you want to see play David Headley?
