As is evident by last two episodes, AsYa are back to square one. Their bickering and simmering is in full flow once again, thanks to Mr AAK's anger at himself that he channels directly to Ms ZF. To her credit, Zoya has tried the 'can we be friends' route, but he is in no mood. His heart is playing a game of somersaults but his tongue would rather use the whip instead. Zoya, the stoic woman that she is, knows who the real Mr AAK is and instead of tears, she is giving it back to him.
There is no doubt, his words are hurtful but I think it's the silence that will ultimately kill both of them. Are they both waiting for the other to take the initiative? Zoya, the modern 21st century woman can take the first step. The question is, is she clear about her feelings? I think she is- but she probably doesn't realize that it's love. The kind of person she is, I think the day she feels it's really love, she will confess openly. Her dialogue on the terrace- main apni cheez par apna naam khud likh doongi-is evidence.
Asad, his pride and resolve, will never let him acknowledge the reality.
Hope this silence doesn't last too long...it would not only kill them, but also kill their ability to love anyone else that deeply.
