JDJ requires more INDIAN CLASSICAL DANCIN

JDJ is an INDIAN show. Why do they keep repeating all these CHA CHA, SALSA, RUMBA .

I really wished they had some Kathak, Qawaalis Kuchipudis etc.

The competition should have had more INDIAN dances . I personally think it was too much of WESTERN maybe next time they will take the suggestions. Our dances are RICH in variety... we have so many styles, varieties...etc.

I hate it when we APE the WEST...

I agree Madhu. I also feel that the contestants should perform the same dance form at the same time. I mean why did Mona do a disco in the last episode and Sveta in this one? They both should have done it in the same episode!!! 😕

just to confuse viewers I guess 😉

i think indian classical dancing like kathak cannot be perfectionised within a week. people learn indian classical dance for years before they can even say theyre getting good. western dances on the other hand are far more straight forward and follow the same rutine. theyre easier to get the grasp of. that why i think they dont include classical dance as a mandatory theme.

Very true yaar. But then it will be a good comedy show. None of the contestants are trained dancers. Shveta is the best in the show but her bharatnatyam performance (the Jugalbandi episode) wasn't that great. Compared to the others, yes, it was. 😃

agreed di! 👏 i mean thats how how it is in the american version and it is much better. the starts should all perform the same dance in the same episode. this way the judges can actually compare and give proper scores!

As for other types of dances, i think that would be really nice to see. It would have been different and nice to see. As this is the indian format od the show...😛
