i opened similar thrd...

rajesh khanna the first superstar and dhara singh the first action has been ignoredf by the film freternity...

they shoul've got the tribute ..but all were remembering only ysah chopra...

Just like Rajesh Khanna, Yash Chopra too has been honored with different awards over the years...Thats no reason for RK to be ignored and snubbed this way.

I understand YC is a legend and i have no issues with the lifetime achievement award he got this time.

What annoyed me was they ignored Rajesh Khanna and his contribution to Bollywood. They could have atleast had some kind of tribute for him or an award to honor him...

When they can come up with awards like International icon, global icon, national icon, local icon etc for AB Sr and other superstars, they could have come up with something for RK too.

He was a super successful star of his time and the first superstar...He did deserve a fitting tribute.

I'm not a Rajesh Khanna fan but honestly it's surprising that no one did a dedication to him, his andaaz was awesome why would you want to a snub an actor like him?

Rajesh Khanna is and will always be my All Time favorite Star. When I read about Filmfare awards and no mention of Rajesh Khanna I was surprised for a minute ...but then again Hindi Film Industry establishment always disliked him and wanted to ignore him and that is why they snubbed him. In his hey days Rajesh ji had too many enemies and many wanted to get back at him, so the awards are going to snub him.

I did not see Zee Cine awards yet, may be they will also ignore him. Most of the new generation may never have heard of him before he died and never knew the frenzy he created and has not been equaled.

I do not know how many stars were sincere when they paid tributes to Kaka ji on his death, he did not have any friends in the industry.

I think most of the awards are going to snub him, and that is sad.
