Discussing the precap where Asad says that Zoya was and is a "problem"...
I think that Asad's reaction, going by his characterization, is actually normal. Of course he won't realize that he has feelings for her, he's very stoic and pent up. The man will take a long time to learn to love and far longer to accept it.
The scene in Asad's room where he becomes disturbed recalling all the moments he cared for Zoya was so realistic. (Terrific acting by KSG again, btw) Now that he's back to his usual surroundings, he can't understand those reactions from himself. He just doesn't know how to justify or deal with all the raw emotions that came rushing out during that horrific time. He is totally confused and frustrated.
So, going by Asad's character, the best way to deal with any change (and especially change in feelings) is to bottle it all up and name it what is was. That is the reason why he is still calling her a problem. Zoya used to be a "musibat" for Asad. But deep down inside, he knows that now she is a problem to his heart. He doesn't know how to deal with all these new emotions!
p.s. Loving the way the creatives are handling the love story so far, so delicate and realistic.
