I am back with my usual stuff😛
So the episode starts out with Kunal talking to Siddhi. He opens up by talking about family members, typical. But when talking about wish to live, "mein itna bhoora hoon kya?" There came the guilt. Then saying "tum nahi bologi, pehle kab bola he tumne"; some anger on her. Then apologizing to her from family and for himself as well; anger/guilt/repentance on his part.
Then comes in bit low tone, talking about kids. Then again yelling, asking her to speak or at least scold him showed helplessness on his part. Nurse asking him if he is angry on his wife; well more like angry on himself. It is his character to blame himself when things happen to Siddhi. Nurse's advice of reminding Siddhi of happy memories and making her aware someone loves her so much was right on the mark. All the emotions were apt and well executed.
Didn't really care for OTT kids, As usual FF their part as many of you know me. Now as if they are not enough, Veenamata scene, again FF. Read she was making kheer, well Siddhi doesn't like kheer, Anand did. Not even going to ask how are they going to feed kheer to unconscious Siddhi?😕 At times I think Siddhi might decide to stay in hospital to avoid OTT and kheer😆😛
Now comes Kunal asking Gaurav to read his diary. I must say it came as surprise to me😲 But it appears Kunal himself needed some boost to reconnect to his love for Siddhi given what ever had taken place (dreadful event) and how helpless Kunal felt. He specifically asked Gaurav to read month of February so I guess he knew what he wanted to hear. Gola story, wow - just wow😳 Story about Gaurav wasn't big deal. There they tried to engage Gaurav-Seema more. But what Kunal captured was Siddhi laughing.😊 Romantic movie thing - I agree with others, best romantic couple is indeed SINAL. Only love story that made sense to me and I care about. Kunal remembering rain sequence and tears falling, wonderful. Two blank pages, i will say more about that later. Then Kunal cutting the line at the poem, as he still remembers it by heart😳
I liked whole diary scene, of course would be better if Kunal read it to Siddhi. But I guess this was done so Gaurav-Seema gets opportunity to peak into Kunal's personal life. As I have said so many times, family is not really aware of what Siddhi means to Kunal. They thought Kunal's state was due to Siddhi's apparent betrayal, rather it was due to Siddhi's absence in his life. What really killed Kunal is fact Siddhi was not there.
I liked they found Kunal's gifts and letters to Siddhi. We all know SINAL love each other more than anything. But for 9 years, I was ranting forever they need to show Kunal's side. I simply couldn't digest that after temple scene Kunal just went to bar, never met Siddhi and only remembered her while drunk. No that simply didn't make sense. Coming to know all of this, we can see Kunal was simply hiding it all along as he's not much expressive and considering what surrounded him. So I liked this very much and hope they expose little more in front of Siddhi later on. We needed to see Kunal's longing, pain, turmoil and love for extended period than few bits here there. Reminded me night when Siddhi got back to Chopra house and Kunal touched her that she really is there. again, Kunal spent 9 years imagining Siddhi is there, but she wasn't.
Now blank pages, what a metaphor, I had made post once Siddhi came back asking for blank pages of diary so THANK YOU. For 2 days Siddhi didn't talk to him so pages were blank. We also saw Kunal had stopped writing his diary for 9 years during Siddhi's absence. The blank pages in his diaries show blank life or empty life Kunal lived. He didn't say anything to others as he couldn't, but he didn't reflect or said anything to himself either. His source of life Siddhi was just not there so there was nothing to say, without Siddhi, Kunal was blank.😳
Again Kunal talking to Siddhi, going down the memory lane; praising her beauty, reciting wonderful poetry, "aye" and telling her he knows she can hear him - marvelous, 👏 Kunal slowly opening up that he has lot to say to her for 9 years but due to whatever he couldn't. He was miffed at Siddhi, but loved her more than that.😊 Asking to give one chance to herself and him, confessing his love, not able to live without her were damn good. But my favorite line was the last one, "Wapas aajao, mere liye - come back, for me". Right there, honest acknowledgment. He had started with family, but finally came to him, what Siddhi really needs.
I would like applaud entire team of creatives, damn good work. Keep it up👍🏼
It goes without saying but Sameer sir, no words left to capture your brilliance. The last scene, Kunal in complete distress, tears, unshaven face and lost like expressions - 👏⭐️
I know it's long but I got to write something so well after very long period so 😛😛😛
