Symbolism of the broken watch and some questions.

Hi all!

I am not a symbolism expert or any thing, but certain scenes in the show jump at me. I mean, it stands out from the rest of the script which makes me wonder if it has a hidden meaning.

Little Anksh's broken watch was one such thing. Why did the watch break? Of all the things to happen when children play how did the watch even find its way into the script?🤓

1. It could have been totally random and I am reading too much, since this was enacted by the PV team.😕

2. But since the episode was largely directed by the 4 Lions, I could not help wondering if it had some meaning.😉

So true for Asad and Zoya right now.

Also some questions related to Monday.

1. Will the CVs forget Mariam in all this drama? 😭She is supposed to have reached Bhopal by now. Will she let Dilshad know about the circumstances of her broken marriage? I don't expect a rescue team; I am sure Asad will manage by himself, I just hope Mariam is at least mentioned for the sake of completion.😉

2. Should Zoya try to explain her actions?😕

I want her to let it go, for Asad to realise his mistake by HIMSELF later on...just like it happened with the Akram episode.😉

I honestly think the broken watch was more symbolic to AarYa than AsYa here. It symbolizes Ansh's time with Yash-Aarti. He'll get kidnapped by Prashant and we don't know where he is or when he'll return, so I assumed the watch breaking scene represented that. It could work both ways too.

I agree, I really do want a closure for the Mariam issue.

I think the broken watch was symbolic of the hard times everyone has to face in the near future. Perhaps a plea for time to stay still - that's my interpretation. Even the song that played afterwards said something similar- Phir yeh haseen rajat ho na ho..
