Part 14
After making her bath and combing her hair dressing her up both mother-daughter headed towards the dining area where Mayank was impatiently waiting for her.
Mayank,"Good Morning Shriya'!!!"
This time also Shriya doesn't responded him but just nodded her head...Mayank didn't felt low this time but a new hope emerge in his heart that one day she will also greet him lovely..!!! the way she enjoys his hand made meals was enough for him now'!!
Mayank:"Here is your warm Milk..!!! it's taste really good have it..".
Without saying anything to him she grabbed the class and drink it lovingly.While they were having their breakfast Mayank broke the silence by saying,"Okay'finish your breakfast then we will go for shopping..!!"
Nupur(Frowning a bit)"Shopping but kyun'!! Achanak se.."
Mayank(explaining her):"Achanak se nahi I had planned it before hand'!! Ab tum aa gayi ho.. to sara saamaan tumhare bhi taste ka hona chahiye na and also..ghar mein tum logo k type ka kuch khas nahi hain.. better buy some things for home and also some clothes for you and Shriya'!!"
Nupur thinking a bit 'Mayank was right indeed she needs clothes and her other accessories ..after thinking a bit she replied,"Okay'Turning to Shriya,"Shriya now we will go for shopping..!! okay.."
Shriya,"Sho'oop---i-ing'? "and gave her frowning expression...Instead of Nupur Mayank spoke up,"Shriya shopping matlab'we will go out home.. different different shops mein jaaayenge.. aur jo humko acha lagega vo hum khredenge'aapka jo mann karega hum vo cheez kharedenge'!!! Vaha per hum bahu saari masti karenge'hum shopping karenge..!! will you come.."
She simply nodded her head.Trio headed towards the shopping mall.Shriya was actually very very amazesd to see such a huge place her head was revolving in every direction'and admiring the different shops'
First they entered the clothing section,There Nupur buyed some of casuals but on insisting of Mayank to buy more she ended up in 23 dresses including casual and formals'then they went to the kids section till then Shriya was side of Nupur'entering the kids section a huge smile appeared on her face she was so happy to see the whole place was filled with toys,teddy and beautifull dresses.
After seeing Many dresses Mayank and Nupur were discussing over a dress and Shriya was just watching her Mamma and Dadda..turning her head to her mother when she says something and then to her Dad when he says something'!!
Nupur:"Mayank'ye green wali dress bahut achi hain..and it's quite warm bhi aur vese bhi winters shuru ho gayi hain'"
Mayank:"I know Nupur winters shuru ho gayi hain but ye green wali meri beti per bilkul bhi achi nahi lagegi'please ye blue wali lete hain aur iske saath 10-12 ache warm warmers and sweaters le le lenge..!!"
Nupur:"Mayank..ye achi nahi hain ye achi hain.."
Mayank:"Nahi Nupur ye.."
Nupur:"Mayank mein Maa hoon iski isliye keh rahi hoon ye wali achi rahegi.."
Mayank:"Nupur mein bhi iska papa hoon aur mein bhi keh raha hoon isme meri princess aur bhi sunder lagegi.."
Nupur:"Aise jhagadne ka koi faiyda nahi hain'usi se pooch lete hain..use kya pasand hain.."
Mayank:"Good Idea"
They turned towards Shriya and asked her to choose any one of the dress of her choice.
Mayank:"Shriya beta aapko kon si dress achi lagi hain hum vo wali hi lenge..Please batao.."
Turning her head left right and left seeing both the dresses she hold the dress which was Mayank holding and released it hesitantly.
Mayank on other side was very happy and gave a winning smile to Nupur..Nupur too was very happy.
Mayank"Hmm to Shriya ko meri pasand'. pasand hain'okay to fir hum ye hi lenge..are you Happy Shriya'.!!"
She looked towards him and nodded her softly and then grabs her mothe finger indicating to move.
While they were moving to grocery section Shriya's eye fall on a huge cream colour teddy bear she was mesmerized by seeing it that she left her mother's finger and ran upto it.
Nupur:"Shriya kahan jaa rahe hoo'"
Shriya(excitedly):Mamma'see..he is shooo cute'Mamma..can we..please..
Nupur:"No Shona'chalo abhi bahut kuch karidna hain'"
Shriya:"Mamma please.."
Nupur:"No Shona'"
Shriya:"Please Mamma he is shhooo shweet'please.."
Mayank:"Kya hua'"
Nupur:"Dekho Na Mayank'ise ye teddy chahiye ..zid kar rahi hain lene ki.."
Mayank:"Haan to le lete hain na.."Listening him a huge smile appears on her face.
Nupur:"Pagal ho gaye ho kya..it's so costly Mayank aur vese bhi abhi kya kam kharida hain'"
But soon her facial expression changes listening to her mother's rejection.
Mayank:"Oh come on Nupur ek teddy bear se kuch nahi hoga.."
Again she smiled in a hope that her mother would agree.
Mayank:"Aur dekho na..kitni..hope se dekh rahi hain..dil toot jaayega meri bachi ka..please na..Nupur.."
Nupur:"Okay..okay..jesa tum chaho'after all you are her father.."
She dliberatly emphasises on word father so that Shriya could understand his love and Mayank could feel happy listening this from her and she was right it actually affect both of them where Shriya went into a thinking session Mayank had a huge smile on his lips.
Mayank's P.O.V.
I felt so happy first when Shriya chooses the dress which I had selected for her..though she was not talking to me but her reactions to my gestures were quite positive and with time I am sure she will be comfortable with me and will surely reciprocate my feelings for..her..Gosh..!!! I am desperately waiting for that day..secondly..That was Nupur addresses me"After all you are her father..!!"
Wow'I felt so damm awesome'.. and the way my angel was giving her cute pleading look'I just want to pull her chubby cheeks and kissed them'.Well controlling my urges I passed my sweet to smile to her and in return I got world's best smile..it's her'.!!!
Third Person P.O.V.
Shriya was more than happy and felt happy that Mayank supported her somewhere she started believeing that he is a good man and actually loves her like her mother does.
"Yupieee'.mujhe mil gaya teddy bear'!! Aur yahan tak unhone mujhe support bhi kiya..Mamma sach kehti hain vo bad man jese bilkul bhi nahi hain..unhone mere liye kitni saari dresses or toys bhi kharide'"'
They turned their heels towards grocery section'Shriya was quite tired and having difficult to walk more..
Shriya:"Mamma..mein thak gayi hoon..mein nahi chal sakti aur'."
Nupur:"Shona abhi to bahut saari shopping karni baaki hain'"
Shriya:"Mamma mujhse nahi chala jaa sakta.."
Nupur(feeling helpless):"Beta..mamma aapko godd mein nahi le sakti..Mamma ka fracture abhi abhi thik hua hain'mamma k shoulder mein bahut pain hain..Mamma aapko nahi le paayegi.."
Shriya:"I know Mamma but mujhse nahi hoga'."
Nupur(Acting as if thinking..):"I have an idea'if you agree'"
Shriya:"Bolo Mamma.."
Nupur:"Mamma ..aapke Dadda ko keh deti hain vo aapko apni arms mein le lenge'aur vese bhi aapke Dadda bahut strong hain vo jaldi tired bhi nahi honge'.Hain na.."
Shriya was just thinking of it.. she couldn't able to give any answer to Nupur'she was little bit not ready to not go in his arms'
Nupur(Breaking her thoughts):"Acha Idea Hain na'Mayank Shriya burst out'"Mamma'"But was too late.
Mayank'.he was looking to a Magzine diverted his gaze towards Nupur.
Mayank:"Haan'"
Nupur:"Tumhari ek help chahiye thi.."
Mayank:"Haan bolo'"
Nupur:"Vo actually Shriys bahut tired ho gayi hain chalte chalte could you please pick her up in your arms'"
Mayank was totally dumbfounded listenting to her plea'he couldn't able to believe that is Nupur actually asking his help or was offering him his happiness'his great happiness to hold his daughter in arms'!!
Nupur(Not getting any response from him and seeing his shocked face she again asked him):"Mayank humari help karoge na'."
Still Mayank didn't came out of his shock..Nupur shaked him from his shoulder to bring him back to his dreamland.
Nupur:"Mayank..kahan kho gaye'"
Mayank (coming out of trance):"Huh'haan'.mein'mein'.kya haan..nahi..mera matlab hain..kyu nahi'mein'kya keh rahi tum.."
Nupur:"Tum thik to ho na.."
Mayank:"Haan..bilkul..mujhe kya hua..hain.."
Nupur:"Nahi..mujhe laga..acha mein keh rahi thi..mere shoulder mein abhi bhi bahut pain hain to will you take Shriya in your arms'"
Mayank:(in a slight whisper)"Hmm.."
Nupur:"Mayank Bolo'!!"
Mayank:"huh Haan..mein leta hoon'."
He stepped towards Shriya but Shriya moved little bit back nervousness was quite visible on her face'As soon Mayank hold her from her waist she closed her eyes in fear and then found herself in air'her legs were travelling in air and after some seconds she found something very hard beneath her legs..she opened her eyes to found herself in the trolly'
She looked above to see Mayank was grinning to her and raising his brows as if saying"How is this.."
She still was confused'how this happen' and May be Mayank understood her confusion that's why he said before she could called her mother up and convey this message through her mother.
Mayank:"I thought tum..nervous feel kar rahi thi..isliye..mene tumhe trolly mein betha diya'ab tum tired feel nahi karogi aur aise hum saari shopping bhi kar lenge'happy'"
Shriya indeed was very happy indeed very happy as somewhere she needed time to adjust with him and Mayank was giving her that time and space.
