Mayank's P.O.V.
A s I stepped towards her I noticed a line of panic on her face'may be she is nervous and when I hold her she closed her eyes tightly in nervousness'I immediately understood about her inner feelings and instead of taking her in her arms.. I made her settle down in the trolly'and vese bhi is small enough to fit in the trolly'and when she opened her eyes I found a kind of relaxation in her eyes as she was very relieved seeing her relaxed it gave me immense pleasure..though I want to hold my daughter in my arms'but nevertheless..atleast for the first time I hold her..i touched her..she is so fragile..so soft'I internally made promised to save her from every evil eyes'.!!!
Well we moved towards the grocesery section while Nupur was picking up things I was putting them in the trolly so that Shriya could get her equal space'and dragged the trolly from one direction to other..it seems she was enjoying her trolly ride'.and seeing her enjoying was nothing less than immense pleasure for me.
While we were moving furthur when Nupur excused herself to buy some of her personnel stuff'leaving me and Shriya alone'sometimes I feel Nupur intentionally does this.. and I appreciate her effort'...
Well we were seeing some of the dairy products and snacks when I saw that Shriya was looking at a point'I followed her gaze and then noticed that she was observing a family where a father was playing with his daughter..kissing her and mother was scolding them and they were holding their ears seeking a sorry from her..it was actually a very adorable seen to watch'I wish I could able to feel this day..and then something strike in my mind..It seems my daughter is older than her age..as she could also feel these emotions'I mean..indeed she is my daughter'she was too was wishing the same'I controlled my emotions and thought to drive her mind from their'and brought a big chocolate for her'snapping my fingers towards her I made her to look towards me..
Mayank:"Shriya'ye dekho mein tumhare liye kya laya hoon'"
She raised her brows as if asking what I handed that chocolate to her and grinned to her seeing the chocolate a big smile appears on her face but it was for a small moment because next we heard was nothing less than a roar of a lioness.
Third Person's P.O.V.
Nupur was coming to them buying her every necessary accessories when she spot Mayank giving Shriya chocolate'and she burst on them.
Nupur:"Kya ho raha ye..?"
Both of them get shocked with her little raise in her voice Mayank hesitantly
said,"Kuch nahi..vo mene Shriya ko chocolate di.."
Nupur(Still in stern tone):"Kis khushi mein..Mr.Shram mein jaan sakti hoon'."Folding her hands acroos her chest giving Mayank a deadly look...he gulped down his saliva to wet his dry throat and was thinking an excuse but no words were coming out of his mouth,"Vo..Nupur..vo mein'"
But Instantly at that time Shriya spoke up or could say she spoke to save her father from fury gaze of her mother,"Vo Mamma mujhe chahiye thi..isliye'a..mm..isliye'aaammm"
Nupur looked towards Shriya though she was very much surprised with her reaction only but not only she infact Mayank was also surprise but still Nupur tried to maintain her tone same:"To'Mayank isne maangi aur tumne de di'tumhe pata hain na chocolates'are not good..for teeth'cavity ho jaayegi..koi chocolate vochlate nahi leni..vapas rakh do jahan se li thi.."
Mayank:"Come on..aise keh rahi ho.. jese ki kabhi chocolate tumne khaayi nahi hain..turning towards Shriya..tumhe pata hain..tumhari Mumma chocolates ki bahut badi diwani'..agar aap abhi apni Mamma ko ye chocolate doge na..to raat tak Mamma ise finish kar dengi..aur baad mein apne teeth bhi brush nahi karengi'aur dekho kese hume daant rahi hain..".
Shriya gives an amused look to Nupur as if she learned one of the biggest secret of her mother,"Scchi Mamma.."
Nupur(accepting it..):"Huh..haann'then coming back to herself..lekin tumhe pata hain tumhare Dadda ko to chocolates mujhse bhi zayyeda pasand hain'tumhare dadda..to ek din mein aise bahut saari finish kar sakte hain'."
Shriya's mouth was huge open today was the evening of secret revealing she couldn't even thought her father is more crazy for chocolates than her mother she hold her mouth to supress her giggle'
Mayank:"Haan to thik hai na'hum ye chocolate le rahe hain..bus final.."
Nupur..looking towards Mayank and then Shriya..seeing their cute face she couldn't able to refuse."Okay le lo..dono baap-beti ziddi hote ja rahe hain.."
Mayank(under his breath):"Maa ki company ka asar hain .."
Nupur:"Kuch kahan tumne'"
Mayank (clearing his throat):"Mene nahi to'chalo..billing counter chalte hain.."
After paying the bill Mayank again hold Shriya but this time she didn't closed her eyes'seeing her confidence towards him gave a ray of hope to Mayank's heart..He softly made her stand and then trio went back to their home'home'yeah after four years that dead house has now became home'and Mayank feels great of thinking like this'home'home has family..and he has his family with him'
They placed all the stuff at their place..and when Mayank excused himself to make dinner..when Nupur said,"Mayank mein bhi tumhari help karti hoon'."
Mayank:"Nahi you relax..tum T.V.dekho..tab tak..i'll prepare.."
Nupur:"Are ase kese mein bhi help karti hoon na.."
Mayank:"Arey Nupur Shriya bore ho jaayegi'."
Nupur:"Per mera t.v dekhna ka mann nahi hain'"
Mayank:"Nupur..tum jao..living area mein jo mann kare hain vo dekho'ek aam karo'mene na..Shriya k liye kuch cartoons programs record kar k rakhe hain'tum usko vo dikha do.. she will surely enjoy it.."
Nupur(agreeing to him):"Okay'"
Nupur went to the living area and asked Shriya,"Shona'cartton dekho gi'!!!".
Shriya(Excitedly):"Haan Mamma..Tom and jelly dekhna hain..please'"
Nupur(correcting her)"Jelly nahi jerry'abhi lagati hoon'"
And switched on the television and tried herself to open the recording'since it was certainly new for her so she was facing difficulties in putting the record mode in the television'She was tryig hard but couldn't able to figure out 'and was contantly flipping different channels'.
Shriya:Kya hua Mamma'.lagao na Please'.kya kar rahi ho tabse.."
Nupur:"Mein kya karu'mein try kar rahi hoon..na hi record mode lag raha hain aur na hi koi cartoon channel'pata nahi kese hoga'"
Shriya:"Aapko ye T.V. chalana nahi aata kya Mamma.."
Nupur:"Aise baat nahi hain Shriya vo bus Tumhare Dadda ne naya smart TV liya hain aur ye TV aapki Mamma ko chalana nahi aata.. but fikaer not mein koshish kar rahi hoon'"
Mayank;"Mein kuch madad karu kya.."
Nupur(Sternly):Nahi iski koi zaroorat nahi hain'mein kar loongi'"
Mayank:"Dekho Nupur'"and moved a stepped towards living area towards them'.when Nupur shouted on him..
Nupur:"Mr.Sharma agar aapne ek kadam bhi rakha na yaha per than I swear you will be dead..just do your work and let me do mine..got it.."
Mayank gulped his saliva down as he very well know Nupur's anger and this tone of her was clearly giving indications that..if you stepped up you will be dead for sure without saying much he went back to kitchen moreover they both didn't notice that someone was keenly noticing them..making a point in her mind that her Dad is afraid of her mother's anger..sighing she sat down folding her hands across her chest and waiting patiently for her cartoon'as her mother was trying hard to put it on'
After trying many attempts Nupur couldn't able to yet set the channel..but still she didn't poked for Mayank's help'as if now..it's challenge and she has to ful fill it'she resume back on trying hard not noticing that Shriya was no longer sitting besides her..rather she has went upto kitchen to see what's her father is doing that seems to be more interesting instead..
She stood on the chair beside Mayank and observed him how he was making their dinner'wearing an apron 'choping the vegetables'and also working something on the stove simultaneously'she cupped her face with one of her hand while taking the support of chair through her elbow was watching her father not uttering anyword'
