The Cover Story
Even though she was born in the small city of Bhilai and brought up in Ranchi yet nothing could stop Parakh Madan from dreaming of making it real big one day. She always had ample self-confidence and complete faith that one day she would prove successful in transforming her dreams into reality. She strongly though silently believed that if she could dream it then surely she could live it too. As a school child it was the mirror that fascinated her the most and she would spend endless hours posing in front of it.. That in itself was an indicator of things to come…as eventually she was destined to spend hours in front of the mirror when she grew up!! Parakh does not hesitate in confessing that she strongly believes in destiny. How else would she have got an opportunity to come to Delhi to do her graduation after completing her schooling from Delhi Public School in Ranchi where she was a very popular child both with teachers and students alike? While still doing her graduation, she went on to join the National Institute of Fashion Technology where she passed out with the glory of being adjudged the "Best Academic Student"!! Even though Parakh got modeling when she did a couple of ramp shows for the college fests and started to get noticed yet the ramp never excited her as much as the stage where she loved giving classical performances. Yes indeed, Parakh Madan is a trained and accomplished Kathak Dancer who has been giving professional performances for the past 16 years…"It almost seems like a life time", says she breaking into her golden gushing laughter that radiates her attractive face with a warm glow. Not just classical dancing, she just loves to flow to the beat of any music that has her wanting to get up and jell into the music. Thus along with her passion for dancing she absolutely loves music-from all parts of the world.
Confesses Parakh during the course of a meeting, "I always give my very best to whatever I set out to do, because I know life gives you a fresh chance every single day…u either seize it and make it your own, or just let it pass by…You have the freedom to choose, so there is no room for regrets later!!!" For Parakh, her parents mean the world to her as they have given her all the support that she has ever needed and whenever she has needed it and that shows in the security and self-confidence that she radiates in her pleasing personality. Says she proudly, "My parents have both worked their whole lives for their children's happiness and prosperity so if ever, I can make something good of my life, I would feel blessed to show them how much they mean to me!!!" What exactly is the motto that keeps Parakh Madan going strong-irrespective of the odds? Says she, I've always strongly believed that "You're not ready to live unless you're ready to die!!!" Unless you cannot look death squarely in the eyes how can you relish the pleasures of life?"…Asks Parakh!!!
