Looks like Anuj Saxena's swan song will come to an abrupt end. The show, Risshton ki Dor, that is supposed to Anuj's last serial is going to be pulled off air. The reason being low TRP. The show was initially in news because of the fight between Sampada Vaze and Gourav Chanana. Gourav was replaced with Amit Sarin, but that did not increase the viewership. While the shooting will end in the last week of October, the serial will conclude on November 2, say sources. Though people associated with the production of the serial refused to accept this the actors seem to be aware of the happenings. The creative head Amit Sharma dismissed this as a rumour. However, Anuj says, "Well, I have heard about it too. Apparently, the serial will end sometime in the beginning of November. It's sad because the show had a good promise and a good start." Actor Monaz Mevawala, who plays one of the three sisters, says, "We don't know when the serial will end."
The show boasted of actors like Urvashi Dholakia, who is quiet popular for her mean act in Kasutii Zindagii kay on Star plus and Anuj Saxena, who is counted among the biggies after he played Abhay Kapoor in Kkusum. However, the changing storyline seems to have resulted in the serial's failure. The was supposed to be based on the relationship between three sisters and a brother, but the track was changed suddenly. Anuj adds, "Personally, I think that the show lost its focus and the story right from the beginning and therefore could not connect with the audience. It's a good unit and a good production house to work with and I wish I get an opportunity to work with them in the future."
