I knowww. Even I thought they would use the pearl breaking scene. It would have given a totally different effect. Khushi was too much into her dream world this time lol.

so if it was like him acknowledging that 'fear' he gave her and showed that this was his way of rectifying it..showing that then he broke her, now he is putting her back together:-)
while, she dreamed of her own dream and today realizing it!!

According to me they showed that dream sequence because, Khushi dreamt of Arnav gifting her pearl necklace and she is happy that he gifted her that in real, actually gifting pearl necklace has no connection at all with the previous pearl breaking sequence

P.S I too have commented agreeing to you earlier but after thinking for long time in my case very long time, I bit differ
