Oh please give me a break...This film has been so badly bashed and beaten...not an ounce of respect was shown to Yash ji's last creation...First Ajay Devagan's files all sorts of court cases and what not and then the critics and public bash it...so don't even try saying that even a single rupee was collected because of Yashji's passing away...Whatever the movie collected was because of its own merit and Shahrukh and the fact that if a lot of people didn't like it...there were a bigger number that loved it...i loved this movie...I think it was just the script of the movie that was polarising ...either people loved it or they hated it...there was no middle ground and absolutely no sympathy viewing for this movie...Did u watch it...because it was Yashji's last movie...you didn't because of the reviews...so if u didn't show that sympathy then why are u assuming that other's did?

Yash Chopra has refused to receive awards and thats why I guess he isnt nominated. And even otherwise I feel films like Kahaani, Barfi, VD were better overall and rightly deserved to be nominated and also win. Here is the proof of YC declining to be nominated:

Zee Cine Awards 2013: Paving the way for young talent!

On the request of late filmmaker Yash Chopra's production house, the veteran's nomination for Best Director category was removed in the Zee Cine Awards 2013 that was held on January 6. In 2005, Chopra had won the best director's award for Veer Zaara and had requested not to be nominated anymore in this category as he wanted the young directors to get an opportunity to come in the limelight. It was his way of promoting and encouraging new talent.

Sources say that while his production house considered it an honour for Chopra to be nominated in the Best Director category, but in keeping with his wishes, they requested the channel to withdraw his name. Respecting the legend's wish, the channel removed his nomination.

The final list included Anurag Basu-Barfi!, Karan Malhotra-Agneepath, Sujoy Ghosh-Kahaani, Anurag Kashyap-Gangs of Wasseypur, Rohit Shetty- Bol Bachchan.

film was weak and every knows it.

But I loved Yash Chopra he did what he want damn everyone else with the exception of this screen controversy with Ajay Devgan ( which I believe is Aditya & maybe Srk's doing)
