Urvashi Dholakia win on 'Bigg Boss' pushes Colors to top
The Grand Finale of the hit reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 6' pushed broadcaster, Colors to the number one position in India, according to Week 2 of 2013 data from TAM.
The show, which was aired on Saturday 12th January grabbed a rating of 4.4 TVR. However, preceding the finale, 'Bigg Boss 6' averaged at 3.3 TVR during the final week. This helped the channel hit the pole position with 245 GRPs – slightly down from last week (253).
Star Plus, meanwhile, continued with its consistent performance. It delivered 241 GRPs in Week 2 of TAM 2013 (last week 287).
In third was ZEE TV with 196 GRPs (last week 211).
Sony Entertainment Television Asia, which telecast the hit Rs. 5 crore winner in 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' got the channel an audience of 5.1 TVR. Overall, it recorded 195 GRPs this week (last week 180).
Sony SAB TV managed to remain in fifth place with 150 GRPs (last week 150).
Star Life OK did well with the success of 'Devon Ke Dev Mahadev' – it averaged at 3.0 TVR. Overall, Star Life Ok recorded 117 GRPs this week (last week 114).
Sahara One was up slightly with 25 GRPs (last week 23).
