Say what you will about the plastic surgeries, the affairs, the fashion statements or their attitudes. But I think every fan of Bollywood, Hindi Cinema or Indian movies (whatever you call it) should salute the women.

If one looks that the expected nominee's for best actor and compares it to the expected nominee's for best actress, you realize that the women blew the men right out of the water.

Sri devi in EV, Priyanka in barfi, Kareena in heroine n talaash, vidya in kahani, deepika in cocktail.

the women this year gave such strong performances and truly challenged themselves. I mean it really is so hard to decide who was better, and that how it should be. And if their was an award for best actor that had both male and female minus the social bias, then I think one of these women would take it home. For an industry where all I hear about are the actors that rank in the money and the heroes with all their glory...i think this year the women the bollywood quietly took this year by storm.

This year truly belonged to the women...but more than that it belonged to the GOOD movies...movies who were not hyped...maybe some of them not even crossed the 100 cr mark...but these were much much better than the top grossing movies...and u know what the best part of 2012 was...that the record of 3Is remains intact
This year makes me really hopeful that BW is going to give us some quality time in the coming years and the taste of the audience is changing for the better...
