I think this new twist is that Kusum is send by Tashu and her Son.
I think the real Kusum will come back which is Nassuen who was the first Kusum before.
I think this negative role this Kusum is doing is because she might need money for her daughter which was shown before so she might be working for Tashu or Esha since it was told before that Esha will be back in Abhay's life once agin. that's my guess.

And since Mahi ditched Tashu and put her and her son in the jail so she might be taking a revang on Mahi by sending Kusum.

Anything is possible in Ekta's shows😆 She alwayz shows negative characters returning😡..but the good ones just disappear!😭
