last and final reason is that vd shoot his bank episodes so cvs don't understand where they set this clip so they decided to use it here🤣

You've hit the nail on it memad, it was more to do with him missing his wife and he called her to come get the gift as an excuse to see her and they could romance a bit, because when Madhu says she shouldn't have come and is walking away leaving him he pulls her back with his little finger and shows her why he wanted her there with him.

Gift he could have sent with the driver when he went to pick her up, he could have just told her go and take the gift I passed it to the driver he should arrive outside now. But he wanted her to come personally as it's an opportunity to see her during the day.

Even at home he was on the phone to her in the night, "come quickly Biwi" when he was interrupted by Dipali.
