OMG W*F this is so cheap. I totally agree with what Priyanka said.

Shame on those people who say the reason for rape is item numbers. So just because a girl wears short clothes then it's a signal to men to rape them W*F most stupid logic ever.

India is a so called democratic country with freedom of speech and the individual is free. The population has right to do what ever they want. Instead of blaming item numbers then go and take the criminals to the court. This is beyond logic.

But I am not surprised. There a tendency in India that when ever something bad happens with girls then the society always blames the girls and says in a way it was her own fault they don't give the blame to the once who did the criminal act.

pathetic and shameful 🤢

OK saw more of the video and I have to agree with Shabana.

Item numbers can't be played for rape but when item numbers has disgusting camera angles and vulgar lyrics like: "Main to tanduri main to tanduri murgi hoon yaar Gatkale saiyan alcohol se oh yeah." then it's understandable why some people view women as sex objects. I think that line from fevicol se is the most vulgar and cheap line ever used in a song. Which is not acceptable because these movies while getting censored gets a certificate which allows family audience to see the movies and when they go and their kids hear such lines then you know what the outcome will be 🤢

I propose that Kat's item numbers are more damaging than the ones in Salman's movies.

I also propose SRK popularized the psycho stalker and murderer back in the 90s with Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam. Many kids watched them and have now probably grown up to be real life psychos.

That's all for now.

But when that is said then I don't think it's right what Shabana says. She says beedi was fine but the item numbers now are not fine W*F?

go and watch beedi, bipasha is wearing as revealing clothes as katrina, kareena, deepika etc. has worn in their item numbers. Men are all over bipasha in the song so I don't get how it's less vulgar from todays item numbers.

Also if u go in 90's movies then vulgar stuff was visible just see govinda or karishma movies the dancing and songs.

it's just that bollywood is first paying attention to it now which tarun also said.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I don't think item numbers cause rape. I do think item numbers objectify women, in a sense that item numbers are used as unique selling points to sell a movie and garner audience.

Item numbers have women willingly singing and dancing. Rape, however, is non-consensual. It's sexual assault. Item numbers don't cause rape. Rapists and their disgusting, narrow-minded, cheap thinking cause rape. The blame shouldn't be pinned on Bollywood. The government needs to do something to change the thinking of society and men who think they have the right to do whatever they want with women.
