Mayank's P.O.V.
After sometime Doctor came examines her and she still needs complete rest and also increases some doses of her treatment .
Soon Doctor went to check his other patients,I grabbed the another bag from the couch and bring it where I was sitting and took out an apple ,a banana and a guava and also other fruits.I cut them into pieces and offered to Nupur.
Firstly she looked towards me then to plate I signaled her to take after moving her eyes from me to plate and plate to me she finally took a piece and ate it.I know what was going in her mind she is hesitant and convered to heself I said,"Doctor said fruits would be good for you.."
Shee looked at me as if going to crush my head into pieces but then smiled sweetly ,that was something a precious for me ..her smile.She called Shriya and said her to take some fruits.
Nupur's P.O.V.
Mayank forward a plate infront of me full of fruits,he so knew I hate fruits like this , I mean no salt , no spice just simple fruits without even chat masala,how could a person eat .I looked to him hoping he would understood but he just signalled me to have it,I kept on tossing my eyes to him to plate and to plate to him and after taking a long sigh I picked a fruit and ate it.
I was controlling my irritation and was eating fruits peacefully yeah for the first time I was having fruit at least in these four years but Mayank just added fuel to the fire when he spoke,"Doctor said fruits would be good for you..!!".
I wish if my shoulder wouldn't be injured I would have crushed his head into pieces but I think seeing my deadly glare he understood that's why he gave me a baby look seeing his care and cute face I couln't able hold my anger anymore and gave him mt sweet smile.Then I called our daughter and said her,"Sweety ..see Dada brought fruits for us'come have it..".
She looked at me at a very amuzed expression and sat down near and asked in her cute baby voice,"Mamma are these those fruits which you used to tell in your stories..!! Are these real Mamma..?"
I tear slipped down from my eye..how could I forget my daughter hadn't seen a fruit yet ,Dhruv never brings anything for us rather used to throw his waste on us and we mother-daughter has to survive on it.I nodded my head and offered her an apple and said to her,"Sweety this is apple..come on have it..".
Hesitating a bit she took it and put the whole in her mouth.After swallowing it she said,"Wow..Mamma it's so good at taste I love it thank you..".
I wiped my tears and said,"Sweety these fruits your Dada has brought say thank you to him..".
But she didn't said so I know she still scared of him and is very much reserved in terms of talking , she only talks to me nobody else.She just come and kisses my cheek and grabs the plate and walks down to her table and resumes to her work.I shifted my eyes from her to Mayank and saw mixed emotions on his face his eyes her reflecting guilt , anger and frustation,I know what he must be thinking,he wants to know and has every right to know not mine but yes he right to know how has been his lived there he has more authority on me because he is not my lover,my saviour , my fiancee he is above all he is father of my child and he has right to know but still I couldn't able to gather up myself to even justify the consequences at that particular time,so I does in which I had become perfect,locking my pain again I turned my gaze from him not showing my unsaid pain to him.
Mayank's P.O.V.
She called Shriya and said her," Sweety ..see Dada brought fruits for us'come have it..".
A sudden happiness engulfed in my heart , I don't know why but I felt happy but that wasn't for long lasting as my angel's next question has put me in great shock,when she asked her mother," Mamma are these thosefruits which you used to tell in your stories..!! Are these real Mamma..?".
What she meant my fruits which were in Nupur's strories and what she meant by saying real'what does this mean..!! it seems she haven't seen'oh..no.. no this can't be happen that means that bloody Dhruv haven't even brought fruits for my child..!! She doesn't know how a fruit look like,she haven't taste them at all for now..slowly my anger was replaced by guilt'guilt of not with my daughter'guilt of not providing her most basic needs'guilt of not fullfilling her desires.
A tear drop from Nupur eyes making my doubt real..that means that Dhruv hasn't provide anything to them'then why did he kidnapped her why'what's the reason I want to know..
I want to know what had happened and she has to tell me atleast she has to tell me the whereabouts my daughter and I have a full right on it.Rest I couldn't able to listen hat she was saying to my daughter as my mind and heart was just thinking about it.
She turned her gaze towards me and looked at me , my eyes was going the emotions I was feeling indeed more than words my eyes were asking her something ,the way she was looking at me I looked into her eyes penetrating into her,it shows that she had understood what I want to ask but she turned her face she deliberately ignored it intentionally turned her gaze so that I won't be able to see her pain in her eyes but she didn't know I know her more than herself.She silently ate her fruits.But somehwere I wish 'a wish that she could tell atleast about my daughter,about her sufferings and all that I get was silence from her side.
So much was roaming in my head I want to ask it but seeing the situation and her condition as doctor said not to put any pressure on her or stress on her brain. After a silence when she indicated that she is in no mood talk as she laid down I got up from the stool and picked my laptop from my bag and sat bsides her wore my reading glasses and start doing my little bit office work,as I had cancelled all the meetings for a week but need to complete my work.
I was silently working on my laptop punching keys which were making little bit of noise ironically but I didn't bothered because somewhere I was hurt and may be I was putting my anguish on keypad of my laptop.Well soon I was engrossed in my work that I didn't realise anything.But after a moment I felt something'I realize that some one is looking me someone is standing besides me and is looking at me,I pulled down my spects and turned my gaze was a little bit taken back to see the person it was non other than my angel my daughter was standing besides me.She staring me curiously I wonder what she was thinking,I smiled at her but she still maintained her facial expression clearing my throat I asked her,"Do You need anything Shriya..".
She get scared a little bit when I asked her but soon regain her composition and negatively moved her head telling me that she don't want anything.She was looking so cute so adorable I wanna carry her and want to kiss her chubby cheeks but controlled my self ,I again resume to my work but after sometime I realized that she was still standing there I again askd her,"Do you want something'!!!".,but again she doesn't said anything my heart was aching seeing her behaving with me like this.
She approached to her mother from the opposite side and poked her little finger on her stomach as if waking her up.
Seeing her making Nupur to wake up from her sleep I asked her again,"Shriya..Mamma is sleeping she is in dose of medicines na she won't wake up soon..you can tell me what you want..".
Her expression were little bit scary may be she want to convey it through her mother but since Nupur was in dose of medicines she won't be able to wake up composing myself I again said,"You can tell me'!!! I promise I won't do anything'"
Somewhere what I said was paining me but my first priority was to make my daughter comfortable around myself. She gave me a thoughtfull look and then pointed towards my laptop,I think she want to know what is it and what I must be doing ,I smiled seeing her childish behaviour and said,"Darling 'this is Laptop.."
She gave me expressionless face indicating she didn't understood a word I said in explainig tone,"Shona this is Laptop ,it is a..electr..*no she is just 3 and half she won't be able to understand the word electronic*it is a device where I work'I do my office work.."
She again gave me a thinking look may be she want's to ask something from me but still hesitant with me and couldn't able to ask me 'well I know my daughter afterall her eyes itself are so expressive that she need not to say anything I could understand her silence as I does of her mother. I asked from her,"Do you want to see..it has games also'do you want to play'".
Very hesiatantly and scarly she nodded her head and shifted towards her mother as if I would I say something to her she would hide herself in her mother warmth,this actually ached me but somewhere our relation was progressing in a very very slow speed but still it was moving in forward direction.
I put my laptop on Nupur's stomach so that it could be visible to me as well as to my daughter and gave my laptop to her and opened a game for her and show her how to play though she was only the listening and I was explaining to her .She was keenly listening to me somewhere I was feeling so good.,no doubt she was sharp like me because she catches it so well and was fondly playing the games and I was'I was doing what I am best of seeing her ,she is just like her mother at every movement her facial expression were changing and was looking adorable more and more.God..i want to pull her arms and love her but I have to control myself ' I can't messed up everything. I just sat back on my and watching her.
