its said that brotherly sisterly love is this much intense pure and deep that you can even sacrifice your life . so what was so big a deal in agam . i mean nimrit knew that amrit loves agam and is desperate , so could not she just sacrifice her love .

had i ben in her place i would have surely ?

see the case in an arranged marriage . you dont love your partner , but still love happens with the passage of time . doesnot it . check it with your parents only ?
