ar Plus' big ticket fiction show for the year 2013, Saraswatichandra, produced bySanjay Leela Bhansali finally gets its female lead and its launch date.
Well, Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported that if all goes well, Jennifer Wingetwho was supposed to be the female lead initially is again back to the thick of things and is on the verge of signing the contract with the channel and production house. We now hear that Jennifer has been confirmed as the female lead, putting to rest the extensive search that the makers have had over the past few months.
We hear that the channel and production house were sure of the fact that the role was tailor-made for Jennifer. And when they could not find a suitable replacement to the face, they negotiated things with Jennifer and got the deal signed. The channel is now looking forward to launch Saraswatichandra on 18 February 2013. However, the time slot has not been finalized yet, but given the story line and money that has gone in to the making of the show, we presume that Saraswatichandra will be placed at a prime slot.
