Since it was not clearly shown, it has hard to assume whether J-A had any physical realtionship after 1st year medicine. But from the voice of leap over, it clearly said that 'J har baar A ko aur akela kar jata tha' So guess there was no intimacy.

Moreover J was quite committed to G and couldn't stand A for a while, so getting physically close to her was almost out of question.

Regarding why A couldn't suspect, I don't know, but I do remember we once had a discussion on forum that 'how comes A did not guage the real reason for distance between her &J?'

I am quite sure J has not physically abused A, because she always remembers the good intimate times with him. But the entire abadonment could have made A think, that she was not able to satisfy J physically as well. However this is just an assumption. There is nothing that can be proved. Shiv-An convo will unfold teh real reason.

I dont get her aversion to the physical intimacy - for most women, its just an extension of the emotional attachment she feels for her man. Anandi may not be in love with Shiv, but she certainly likes and respects him, as far as we have been shown. In most arranged marriages, that is all the basis that the couple has.

Have I missed anything? Did J hurt her physically as well ?

I don't think J has hurt her physically. At least it has not been clearly shown.

Also I don't think J had any physical relationship with A after 1st year of his medicine. By then he was already committed to G and hardly ever came home to Anandi.

After his first year medicine also he used to come home once a year and I think he treated her the same way he did when he was in first year continue to use her and humiliate her.

If he had not maintained physical relationship she would have suspected long time back that her husband has found someone.She only got the impression that she is not able to live upto her husband's expectations any more.

Agree with you Aparna, I remember an episode where he romanced Anandi whole night, in the morning when he got up saw Ajee's earring on bed and was blushing and suddenly the phone call from Gauri distracts him and starts romancing her... completely agree with you he used her whenever required and also humiliated her... disgusting...

Missesha, there was an episode which I have mentioned quoting Aparna, where he had physically used her and also spoken to Gauri immediately after he woke up... so its clear they were physically involved... however, he totally ignored Anandi only when he was completely into Gauri...

Though Jagya has not abused Anandi physically, I always feel "Mental torture is more than a physical torture"

after their upcoming painful confrontation , i want anandi to feel lighter and walk into their bedroom on her own and lie next to shiv( i mean on same bed) and sleep peacefully. Peaceful coz she wud have finally lifted the burden off her chest and realise that shiv is thr for her .

its been long since she had that dream of hers where her knight in shining armor is coming for her.. i want her to have that dream n smile for her future ..

Ofcourse waking up in his arms or atleast holding his hand in sleep and smiling will be cherry on the cake..
