Siddhi - Women need to be respected

In 4th Dec episode Siddhi was utleast shown telling abhay he was crossing the line ---but to stand quiet while he called her his wife??? A man who threatened the life of her child, forced her into marriage, abused her & is now trying to destroy her life with her family -----

I think the most shameful thing in the episode was when Kunal stood with his head bowed & allowed another man to call his wife as his ---- Kunal is a lawyer & while he honors the court verdict regarding his son he has no regard for his wife the mother of his children ???

In an era where there is a nation wide ongoing fight to instill a sense of respect & dignity for women with the recent rape case incident it is really appalling to see a serial depict a woman as though she had no value or say in her life --where a rich man can say or do anything despite a court verdict & her legal husband stands by & does nothing because he basically does not respect her or the law for that matter - What message is the serial sending???--- Its sad that Parichay continues to portray women in such poor light, hope the upcoming episodes has a complete change in the way women are depicted –

How can women succeed in they fight if nationally televised serials show even educated women as helpless, defenceless people whose destiny & lives are determined by men --- If woman are to be respected it the basic mindset of the way men perceive & treat them which needs to be changed in addition to women standing up for themselves & this is where the media needs to share in the social responsibility & ensure that it does not send messages which negatively impact women ---

Hope the makers of Parichay seriously look at the content of the story & the message it portrays & show women in a more positive way in the upcoming episodes----

As it can br seen dear frm our show ...There are two type of womens..One Siddhi Types and Other Richa Types...but sqra bang on dear..Kunal is.noew outta of mah list...

I agree Sarah, the woman in show is treated like an object who gets insulted everyday & the woman stands dumb,mute & blind to all this 😡 What happened to the feisty gal who used to give back royally to anyone before they could open their mouth to disrespect her? Am more disappointed with SIddhi who seem to have lost her self respect on the way of becoming sacrificial sati savitri 😡

Sid said to Kunal the other day that she is his wife and has rights on him. I don't understand why she stands quite when Abhay calls her his wife in front of everyone. She stops Abhay from insulting Kunal further but doesn't stop him from saying anything about her to Kunal! This show has lost all the respect and dignity it once carried. The lead woman is shown as a mere object with absolutely no self-respect. I still can't believe these dumb and brainless leads are the greatest lawyers of their time!

It is Siddhi who should break her silence and Abhay for saying such things to her and kunal as well..calling kunal's wife only in bedroom won't help...accept it in public and tht would be good slap in face of Abhay...

Let's forget about Siddhi's reaction when on insult Kunal was given.
But it is highly disgusting to see Abhay calling her his wife, almost like a commodity; in front of everyone and she stands there mute. WT*? She can say to Kunal in private I have every right for being your wife but not in public? She would confront Abhay in private, why? Giving him respect by addressing aap? What about your self-respect? How can she take this cheap guy calling her his wife in public?

Makers have crossed all the limits now. Both leads have no self-respect, ounce of dignity or true strength. They are constantly being portrayed weak & helpless anyone can just cone indult them, say whatever they want & easily manipulate like mere prop. Both will give each other lectures & stupid nok-jhok but will stay mute when necessary to talk?
I have tolerated more than enough & can't see leads like this. If nothing changes soon, adios.
