Can actresses APPROACHING 40 be #1, sexy, etc.?!

😉😆 This topic is inspired by CHERRYIANS. I applaud Cherry for pushing the envelope since she is approaching 40. But in general, there are not very many actresses who have went to #1, even done sexy roles. Most of them are married, have kids, or retired. Can we PLEASE change that notion? Bollywood will indeed be better forever! I want to see if Vidya and Biphasa can do that! But highly unlikely. When will this macho pig mentality in Bollywood end? Can actresses APPROACHING 40 be #1, sexy, etc.?! Please share your thoughts. 😲

don't think they can stay at the top...coz even the older actors prefer working with younger actresses...thus opportunities dry up!!

hot..oh yes...rekha is an example(and she crossed 40..well a looong time ago)

Yep, Rekha was so damn hot in the late 80's/early 90's.

The older actors prefer to be with the young crowd so it will be really difficult. But if the top actresses look like malaika arora khan or chitrangda singh after getting married and having kids, then they could at least retain the sexy tag. So maybe if they dont gain the "mother" tag after having kids, they basically can.

As for the #1 actress tag, thats just much too difficult at this point but maybe doing roles in small budget films could still put them at the top from time to time.
