Barun Sobti signs his next film based on cricket!

After earning immense fame as Arnav Singh Rayzada with Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Barun Sobti is now getting ready to board the flight to big screen.
His debut venture Main Aur Mr. Right is to release sometime next year. Barun had signed for the film while he was a part of Iss Pyar Ko and the makers of the show had even alerted the script to accommodate the bulk leaves Barun took for shooting his maiden film. The film stars Shenaz Treasurywala as the female lead. Meanwhile, soon after the shoot for the film got over, Barun returned to his show only to back out later.
It is not hidden to anyone that his exit from the daily brought curtains down for the extremely popular show. Nevertheless, people concerned with the show have moved on and all are looking up to new projects. Barun, who has wrapped up Main Aur Mr. Right, is now ready to work with a fresh team.
The still untitled venture is going to be directed by Mitali Ghoshal from MS Productions. She has also been in the news for the popular documentary Warrior Prince, which was premiered widely on popular sports channel. Talking of the project, Barun said, ''I am really excited to be working with Mitali and MS productions. It's a great script; the film is based on cricket with many important characters. We will start with the workshops in January and shoot in April. This is the project that I am concentrating on right now and yes I am also reading other scripts but taking my time to decide my next.''
