The lead pair of Kesar, Nandini and Nikhil are not at war!

Contrary to media reports that the lead couple in Star Plus's Kesar are at loggerheads, the duo maintains, "difference of opinion is only natural". "The report is baseless. In fact we get along like house on fire," laughs Nikhil Arya who plays the role of Rudr.
"I have been with Kesar (serial) for almost a year and a half now. The Kesar unit is more than family to me. Yes we (he and Nandini) do have fights. But it is more of baby cat fights!" he smiles."In fact I am very surprised with industry rumours. First it was reported that we were fighting, then there were rumours that we were having a scene," he says with a surprise.
"Every relationship has its ups and downs. And so does ours. We have had fights on issues like the other coming late on the set," he adds. On quizzing more, his thought becomes clear. "When you interact with someone for a long time, one gets possessive about that person. One becomes sensitive towards the other person and feels hurt on small issues," he shares.
"There have been creative differences between us. And there have been times when we have not spoken to each other for 3-4 days. But then we could not keep quiet so we became friends again."
Nandini Singh who plays the title role offers, "We have spent enough time with the Kesar unit to call it a family. We fight like peers or siblings do. Fights are a part and parcel of life. But it doesn't mean that it has anything negative attached to it. Our fights were one of those harmless ones."
"Sometimes it involved pulling each other's leg, which is in good humour. One way how he provokes me is when I am facing the camera to do an emotional scene, he makes me laugh," she adds.
