Present

Maan entered in the house and the unexpected smell of tasty food made his head turn to the dining area... only to see...geet was preparing the table.She was looking like a mess...some flour smudged on her face...messy kitchen apron...strangely that mess was making her more cute.

He chuckled looking at her...she was continuously rubbing her palms in her apron.

Maan smiled and went forward...''Good evening'' said maan and gave geet a side hug with a peck on her head.

Geet slightly smiled at him and slowly moved away from the hug.

He settled himself in a chair and looked at the table...so much tasty dishes...he was really shocked to see all those yummy hot dishes.

He looked at geet and then back at the table.he said amazed,''ye saab tumne banaya??!''

geet suddenly got busy and served him the food.

''Okey...''he said being unsure and smiled.He took the fork and looked at her meaningfully...

''Won't u join me?''

geet consciously moved those loose strands behind her ear and nodded a no...

''Why not??''Maan said suddenly getting impatient.

Geet frowned hard and went back to the kitchen.

'Damn it...!Geet listen..'maan followed her to kitchen and saw...the maids were washing three burning fry pans...and there are some paper boxes of some resture.

He immediately understood,'Geet u don't know how to cook??'

geet dipped her head down and nodded a no...and with that tears started to flow down her eyes.

''Aww...my baby wife is crying over some burnt fry-pans''saying this he smiled and cocooned her in his warm embress.he signaled the maids to leave the room...and they left.

Geet sniffed and tried to break the hug...but maan put his chin on her head.

''So my guilty wife ordered those foods...and out of guilt she has decided not to have dinner...na??''Maan said breaking the hug and wiped those tears off her face.

Geet slowly signed him (I used to help the cook occasionally in our orphanage...like cutting... bringing this or that...But i never tried to cook...cause it was not allowed.I am sorry for the pans)

''So my wife loves fry pans more than her husband ...hmm...rare.''he said being suddenly serious.

''Ok...i will help cleaning up this kitchen.''Maan suddenly said unbuttoning his calf button and coiling them up to his elbow.Geet tried to stop him.but he said with a playfull smile,''Come on...what are husbands for...cleaning up dirty kitchens right??''

he was feeling very light...happy.Even though he was tired but when he saw his geet...it's like some excitement ran through her.his brain started to think of ways how can he spend some time with her.

He chuckled at his 'teenager-ness' while doing the dishes and looked back at her.

She was picking up dirt from the floor...she was continuously bending and standing...which made him smile.she came towards him and her head banged hard with his elbow...when she suddenly stood up.

Both gasped out...Maan had some current shock there and geet's head spun immediately.

maan rubbed his elbow and looked at her with accused eyes.but geet was rubbing her head too...Without thinking maan started to rub her head...Geet gasped out and tried to shoo off his hands...but maan was adamant...he kept rubbing her hair...and when he looked at her...he saw that she was looking at him with fuming eyes.

''what??...abb kya kiya meine...oh shit.''maan blurted out.

He was rubbing her head with his foamy palms...and those dish-washing liquids were all over her hair...foams made her hair locks white.

''I...uh...at least we know that...u'll still look very pretty when u'll become old.''maan tried to make her calm.

Geet suddenly wiped her dirty palms on his shirt forcefully...

''Yeh kya kar rahi ho geet..??'

geet punched him softly on his chest...made a cute angry pout, stomps and went from there..

''ha ha...Real mature geet.'' he said looking at her going away...and smiled lightly looking at his messy shirt.he called the maids to clean this up and took a plate of food and went to their room.

Geet was in the washroom while maan entered their bedroom.He was enjoying geet's anger so he decided to irk her more.

''Come out my 'lemon' wife..!''and started to laugh...while changing into his night-wear.

''Come on geet...u should be thrilled na...i mean who could ever thought of having a bath with dishwasher liquid''

suddenly the door opened and geet walked out...with a new dress and dripping hair wiping it with a white towel.she was cutely pouting at him and started to go to the hair-dryer.

...but suddenly maan held her palm from behind and twisted her around...she banged with his chest and felt his one hand around her waist and one hand on her cheek.she looked up at him and saw he is looking at her with dark eyes.His thumb went to her lips and wiped off those water droplets...lingering his thumb on her lips...Geet started to breath heavily and looked down.

Maan's hand around her waist tightens and he cupped her face to make her look at him.

''I just want u to know that i am so grateful to u that u've given this relationship a chance...''

but suddenly geet pushes him off...maan was taken a back.

(If u think that i am giving this marriage a chance then U r wrong here.I have decided to stay with u cause i know that if i run away u'll find me...and i can't ruin my life for this chor-police game...u want a happy married life na..?do what ever u want,but if u try to get close me...I'll make u'r life hell.) Geet was shivering with rage...eyes spitting fire.

Geet was confused of her action...this morning she was trying to negotiate...but now...seeing him,everything messed up.

She just can't stand him being happy.

Maan looked at her...totally taken a back,'What r u talking about geet...u signed our marriage papers and u'r saying this on our official First Night???'

Geet was going away...but his last words made her halt and turn around with shivering rage.

She stormed at him (I have signed those papers for my education...for my studies...and if i don't see any progress in this matter from u within a week...then u'll be very much sorry to get me in u'r life...)

Maan was looking at her jaw dropped...he actually got scared of his baby wife's threats...her authority on him...made him stop thinking...She glared at her one last time and went to the bed covering herself with a sheet and slept facing her back to him.

Maan was still standing there...he smiled naughtily at her...and went away for 10 minutes...then he came back with a huge blanket and slept beside her covering himself properly with it...and closed the light.

At midnight geet woke up...she was shivering like hell...the room became so cold that she couldn't feel her fingers...her teeth were continuously tattering due to cold...she looked around while shivering ...desperately wanted to cover herself with something warm.

"Hot husband over here..."Maan said suddenly said giving her a naughty look.

Geet looked at her being shocked...and tried to share the blanket.But maan forcefully...and very easily snatched it from her..."No no wifey...see it's a complete package...me and blanket comes together...ek k saath ek free...but it's mandatory..."he said with a fake sorry face.

She didn't have any choice then...she being defeated she started to crawl to maan...but maan made her stop.

"Ruko ruko...i have another condition..."He said looking straight at her eyes.

Geet looked at him.

"Whatever happens inside the blanket...you can not protest about it."
