Really this show is taking me back at that time to feel those premonitions and inkling thoughts.Just hard to explain because these are very strange and hard to put in writing.

I know what are you saying about "descending night and feelings in the space" and I connected it to step towards LOVE and LIGHT because I connected that moment with episode 22 Where he is challenging her with BLUE dress but he is gauging her with his gaze and smirks and full confidence that goes beyond when he is standing dumb struck infront of beauty in RED.

lovely one there about trying to feel all those jagged, nervous, compelling, confusing, compulsive emotions of 18. i remember and my ears are going hot and red, i was no book worm 😳

they kept feeling things. as we do. when that chemistry thing happens with someone. there was always a universal story here, a story about you, me, all of us. that's why we stayed so ungluebale. and we return now. and we raved and ranted when we did. because that was becoming something else. and being told without feeling.

at this point all the creative cohesive was there. and across episode 21/22/23 and a bit beyond the feelings within exploded. a major line was crossed. hmmm delightful.

about the blue dress and red. how he was on top of things with that cobalt blue in hand and how he turned helpless before crimson red, lots of layer there as you say, in fact this whole week is vera of the seven veils 😆. i am choosing one or max two to delve into.

all along a powerplay has also been on. with its usual ipk twists and turns. why does he keepwalking toward her i wonder, all the time. does he even know what his body language is saying. that reflexive attraction. and she cowers back. why so afraid? se afraid of him? or her own self? oh this weak we party on the thread.

Khushi frightened, asks right away that he not get mad at her, "Hamne yeh jaan bhuj kar nahi kiya" and goes on to explain that she even tried to rid of the stain with soap...If Leeza had partially lost it before, she completely lost it now and walks out of the shoot leaving ASR with out a model for his upcoming calender shoot. La points out that nothing is done yet and calander needs to come out soon. to add salt to wound, Jeff the photographer has to leave in an hour and asks Arnav the status of the shoot.

His only intention was to keep khushi longer,not humiliate her... at least not today. At this point seems Khushi left him no choice.

"The shoot is on Jeff"(so sexy the way he says that!) Arnav informs with out hezitation and with his eyes on Khushi..what is that shatir/cunning brain of his thinking now?? "yeh shoot hoga"(this shoot will happen). Khushi's eyes tearing up as she knows what's coming.

"ab yeh dress tum pehno gi" throwing the skimpy blue dress in Khushi hands "Go change!"

Khushi tries to plea "sir, hum yeh kais"
"Just shut up!" he explodes before she finishes,"because of you my lakhnow show was ruined, this shoot will not stop b/c of someone's stupidity!"once again pointing a finger on her character. "tareeka jo bhi ho, tv pe aane ka tumhara bhi shock hai na?" if the contract didn't bind him, he would've thrown her out already, so he says. Ignoring all the insults she tries again to plea, but again is interrupted "Agar shoot ke liye mana kar rahi ho, to resign kar do"
Jeff, the only on with a level head it seems tries to break the arguement, "ok guys kuchh sochte hai, khucch karte hai.

"No Jeff, mein soch chuka hun, ab bas karna hai"..Khushi still about to say something when a phone rings and finally breaks his eyes away from her face. on the phone its Anjali trying to get two of her favorite men to be in the same room as her hubby will also be at the puja. Arnav lets her know if he could come he would but due to someone's (eyes back on Khushi) stupidity he needs to do some damage control. Anjali understands.

At the Guptas a very unsettling scene as Shyaam is staring at a heart shaped pendant in his hands, but jumps when Buaji comes. "itna hadbadai kahe ho?...humse khucch chupai rahe ho" Shyam diverts Buaji with his honey words again, as puts the necklace in his wallet...hmmm suspicious.

Khushi goes in the changing room, turns to her DM once again. "why me?" she calls buaji hoping to talk to her sister. but its Shyam that picks up and eventually lets Khushi know that he has to leave for work and can't stay for Payal's bday. Khushi begs Shyam to stay behind as he as become a pillar of so she can lean on, and with out fail has always been there. After the call, Khushi turns to DM again, "ab aap hi hame raasta dikhaiye"

she know's she can't quit as everyone is counting on her, "Nahin, hum haar nahi maanenge" (👏 That's the Khushi i know)

at the RM a very eager Anjali rushed to the door when the bell rings, as her husband is due any minute.

Back at the shoot, Jeff and La get impatient, just then everyone's eyes go to her and is surprised to see a vision in red.

a vision she was, but it wasn't the dress she had been ordered to wear.
Lavanya takes over as ASR is not around "apna dimaag mat lagaya karo! what are you wearting, idiot" Akaash also walks in at this time. Khushi explains that the dress was not Indian..the theme of the calender..Jeff saves the moment as he believes she has a point (OR he just wants to get out of there 😆), he asks her to see her in lights. the lights are set.

Jeff then asks her to turn around just as Arnav is making his way back from tending a call, and stops dead in his tracks..(doesn't know his life is about to change), it was as time had stood still to give Arnav company...

Que soft melodious music, and we have our first "Rabba ve" moment
btw...a LOT of puasing and playing and repeat watching went into me writing next few lines...boy the the makers didn't make this scene simple...then again, i guessits the complexity of it all that made is just beautiful!!

Khushi turns around slowly

He looks her up and down

as her pallu drops, her eyes look back at the eyes scorching back at her. She notices him starting at her.

she immidiatly fixes the pallu and

he looks away...only for second, as his eyes slowly gase back at her like he's still thirsty...

...and then, an invisible pull b/w the two, he walks toward her, completely oblivious to the world around him.,so he can have a closer look at her

I always thought ASR fell in love first and this scene is my proof :)

Lavanya break his trans, and his tender look turns into anger (though he had to work at it this time :) Jeff and Aakash try to convince him that its a good look, though not needing much convincing,

"teek hai, go on" (eyes back on khushi)... his tone was not an angry one, KKG in red had shook something up in ASR

slowly he walks out, but not with out taking one last look😉👏

fantastic take, barundiwani. love it all, those in red abs 👏. the man had no idea what hit him. the powerful asr of the early part of episode, kind of drawn to her without knowing why, enjoying his little tormenting, a tad too much... by the end of episode, poor baby is total puddle. burning with the heat she emits. and she so unaware. the shatir and his qatil. too good an episode. deadly week at ipk looks like.

purely for the sake of science and research, i too watched 16:00 onward countless time. amazing that i still breathe. and on other threads when i read of how the ph planned a second true love for khushi, i feel like showing them all this and saying: really? and how would any of you pull it off? this here is what that one relationship that changes our lives is happening. what can be of significance after this?

you know, people talk of moving on, etc. how we are supposed to be together, deal with loss, carry on with life. noble ntentions and idaes no doubt. but i reality, where real love is involved, kinda tough. never forget my dear friend from childhood. fell in love at 17, married at 18, had two daughters, husband passed away when she was 28. it's been 23 odd years now, she remains cloistered in many senses of the word. she brought up the girls, brill students, now both working, one got married the other day. but my friend never fell in love again or look for her second true love. a part of me doesn't agree, but a greater part, completely understands. i do wish she hadn't lost her smile. yet maybe that gives her peace, a sense of being with him. today while seeing 22, and thinking, and all the talk of second love, i suddenly realised this. generalising in life is a folly. much depends on what glasses you're looking through. and what glasses you choose to give importance to.

he came out of nowhere, scooped her up in his arms and whirled away into the rain, holding her tight as she clung to him. the car roared past, the thunder clapped, she was safe. they stood there together, clasped in each others' arms, her head on his shoulder, his cheek pressed against head. the rain poured on. neither moved. his eyes were icy still, beneath it lurked a strange fire. he didn't let go. they stayed there like that, getting drenched in the rain, rivulets of water streaming into eyes, lips, everywhere.
the sound of the car, the thunder, and rabba vey.

episode 23

it had been a difficult day for both. he couldn't get her out of his mind, and he just couldn't fathom this feeling. why was this girl in his head no matter what? she was turning around in that red saree. the pallu slipped, she looked up hurt, almost tormented. lavanya said everything was wrong with her look, but his mind saw otherwise. when she walked into the room as lavanya leaned close playing with his tie in the mood for a little bit of loving, it was as though he had to fly into a rage at her. hurt her. somehow punish her for this. for entering his thoughts and refusing to leave. again without thinking, he walked away from the woman in his life toward the girl who he didn't want around him. in him. so he wanted to believe. he insulted her and sent her off harshly to do a parking attendant's job.

miserable day for her. why was she allowing this to happen to her. why was he punishing her? all she wanted to do was get home for her sister's birthday. akash offered her water, but did he have any jaleb... and manju ji, she offered her food. any jalebis? no it's the day for bitter herbs. completely rattled by the goings on of the day, the letters, the fur coat, the shoot, and most of all the hostility from the man, she just wanted to let it finish, go home. instead she was at the car park.

and the rain came on. conscientious and perhaps a bit past caring, she carried on with her duties. he came up from behind, under an umbrella held by his lackey. as he saw her, something in his eyes. as thick and dark as the clouds. a long look, then he walked away.

only to return. only to hold her in his arms like he'd never let her go. a line had been crossed when he saw her as she turned, her hair flew, her red saree swayed and swirled, and her innocence called out to him, so innocent she had no idea the effect she had on him. he may deny it, but it was too late.

arnav singh raizada did not like to lose. least of all his senses to this chit of a girl in funny gota edged clothes. so why was he holding on? his face intense, his body like a shield around her. slowly she moved away.

a little distance between them as she looked at him, as though searching for an answer.

but for an answer, you need a question first. was there one? if the last episode was about igniting passion and all red, this could only be about passion thickening, growing deep, murmurous, darkening to a blue. the frenzy of red to the languorous heaviness of blue as it settled in. not to leave soon.

the rain poured on. the blaze seethed in him, you could feel it in every pore of his body, the transfixed glazed look in his eyes, and his body still intimate and close. she looked at him, searching. what was going on? her fear and horror seemed to have been washed away. now just this unnamed thing.

it was good that it rained, otherwise there would have certainly been a fire.

ipk's second memorable week. i never knew i could watch any scene of any serial in any language so many times. great work by creative team, cast, and of course, music and sound were haunting and to borrow jeff's description: hot. today there was good story telling. and one of my favourite characters, began to show her hidden layer of love and motherly concern. sweet, ott hello hi bye bye. what a wink. wonder what she'd say if she saw those two up there. because tomorrow both will again run to the opposite sides of the ring and the battle will resume.
