Purvi & Ovi - Worst characters of PR

You know how they say bystanders of a crime are as equally guilty as the criminal? Well, it appears that Ovi is the criminal and Purvi the bystander, of the crimes they have inflicted upon Arjun, and are both despicable. I couldn't care less about Purvi anymore; it's Arjun and Onir I feel really bad for. Ovi, I might use up all the words in the English dictionary and not even come up with a word that describes how awful she is. She is selfish, self-involved, immature, inconsiderate, whiny, narrow-minded, snobby...I'm running out of negative adjectives. For all their doting and understanding, Manav and Archana are moronic parents. I can't believe they let her get away with all her garbage instead of slapping her and telling her to stop acting like an 8-year-old and start acting like a adult, mother-to-be. But NO! They have to go on indulging their ladli beti...

Kudos to Onir today for ignoring Purvi and not allowing her to emotionally blackmail him into agreeing to treat Ovi (well, yet.) I hope Onir refuses to put up with Purvi's crap; heaven knows it's time someone does. To me, Purvi is the epitome of hypocritical self-righteousness. She hides her selfish, self-centered trait under the cloak of mahaanta; no truly selfless character would have done what she did to Arjun and now, Onir. I can't believe how low she has fallen, that she resorts to leaving her husband for not agreeing to her demands of treating her selfish sister, who can well afford good treatment abroad, and instead opting to help the poorer people who actually want his help. Ugh, these two are becoming more and more painful to see every week...even Savita and Manjusha's beginning to look absolutely lovable when compared to these two...

(On a more positive note: Bravo to the great acting by these two actresses for inspiring such intense emotions in their viewers!)

I will definitely agree with u when it comes Ovi as Criminal n Purvi as Bystander,These Two ladies has devasted Arjun's life with no expectation left.Ovi is such a person where she even finds out that Arjun is luking at Purvi then she starts screaming like an weird Electronic Sound which has more Treble then Bass, her completed but incompleted sentence, "Mera Pati Meri Aai" I hate these dialogue of hers.
Purvi is another crook who has made both Onir n Arjun to dance on her fingers,Arjun is deewana for her n Onir is considered to be her frnd(God knows he will also become like Arjun)Her Mahanta for every single issue in others life creates misunderstanding n it leads to Tamasha(which she is bearing from when Arjun n Ovi got married).
Lastly these two actresses Shruti n Asha has done mindblowing job with their characters in PR.

I read the first few lines.
"Well, it appears that Ovi is the criminal and Purvi the bystander, of the crimes they have inflicted upon Arjun, and are both despicable."

Is Arjun a child who can't decide what is good for him? If anything, Arjun is the one who should be blamed in this whole situation. He got engaged to Ovi, he kept things hidden from both Ovi and Purvi, he broke Ovi's heart, he gave into Purvi's outrageous demands, he continues to stay in this marriage where he can not get over his ex and he is not even honest about it.

They are all stupid and worthy of blame, but Arjun deserves the most blame. Purvi despite her mistakes has moved on. She might've pushed Arjun into a forced relationship but she has tried to make it work, while moving on with her life herself. THAT IS LIFE! You move on, you try to make the best of what is given to you. Ovi is annoying, and always frustrated. She doesn't trust him and she shouldn't either. He is kind of a two timer. She shouldn't be with her husband if she knows he doesn't love her. Either she needs to shut up and put up with it, or leave the "helpless innocent man."

Feel free to disagree. It's a bogus repeated story line. Even the actors of the show dislike it and think Arjun's character is in the wrong. But it's the female audience's habit to sympathize with the good looking male lead, doesn't matter how wrong he is.

Brilliant Post! You deserve five, no a million stars for this post. I am appalled at the garbage being fed and stunned that this show is getting ratings of 3.4! The past several weeks have been painful to watch. There is nothing likeable about Purvi. India needs to stop showing women in such a way...portraying them as victims and always giving up on their own rights for that of others - especially those who are selfish and appreciative is a BORE. It is wrong to teach this and it needs to come to an end.

This constant catering to Ovi's bullying and tantrums has become a bore.
Finally, Purvi demanding Onir treat Ovi when she refuses his treatment...how ridiculous. And then leaves him when he refuses? What choice does the poor guy have if Ovi refuses his treatment? He cannot force it on her - that's unethical. Seriously, who are these writers trying to fool? What a ridiculous story. And then Purvi with her "If you loved me..." - it is the same line she pulled with Arjun.
Purvi is a horrifically bad character; she's frighteningly spineless and dangerous just as Ovi is mean and dangerous.

I am tired with the stupid track that they are showing its like a love square arjun-Purvi-Ovi-Onir
i hate the character of Ovi from the start reason is yet unknown ...
Purvi is plain annoying now a days, i feel like banging my head when i see her mahanta ... but then i just cant hate her coz asha looks so adorable n i m a very biased asha negi fan😳
overall both the characters r a match made in hell ... at the end Purvi-ovi shud get together n spare the men of PR land
while arjun-onir shud look for some sensible, no-nonsense, non-mahan, non-devi kind of girl.
And Arjun should learn a lesson that never to bow down to stupid demands of your lady love and be a men enough to verbally(no physical slapping) thrash her for her stupid/idiotic demands.
As for Onir please be true to your words and do not enter the Deshmukh house by any chance or i can guarantee that your doom's day is very near

His good looks has nothing to do with I did not harp on him. I absolutely agree, his mistakes were colossal and is responsible for where he is now. He should have been upfront with both of them in the beginning. And he shouldn't have bowed down to Purvi's demands to marry Ovi, that was the most moronic move ever (although he did bluntly tell Ovi time and again that he did not love her, only Ovi refused to listen.) But now, he is trying to learn from his mistakes and move on with Ovi. And he's not two-timing; he is genuinely trying to make this marriage work. It's not his fault he's still in love with Purvi, that's not something he can help. But he is making efforts with Ovi, even though he almost always ends up snubbed. He made the most stupid mistakes, now he's paying for his idiotic actions, and he knows it.

Purvi did not move on. If she did, she would have respected Onir's decision to refuse to treat Ovi and ask her family to take her abroad, or another doctor (since I'm sure Onir isn't the only doctor in the country.) She wouldn't have chosen her family over her partner AGAIN, and left him to go back to her family. She wouldn't have targeted Onir next for her emotional atyachar. So nope, she learned absolutely NOTHING.

Let's not even discuss Ovi.
