Choreographer removed or quit?

Keerti and Sharad Kelkar's choreographer Kiran Giri gives us the lowdown

The buzz is that Keerti and Sharad Kelkar have changed their choreographer Kiran Giri after their last performance on 'Nach Baliye 2' (Star One). The judges had blamed the choreographer Kiran Giri for not adding his creativity to the performance.

But Kiran Giri, however, has a different story to tell, "The problem began right from the first rehearsal. The couple would be sitting and smoking and also bring their friends along for the rehearsals. When I would show them some steps, they would say that they cannot do that particular step and make plenty excuses. Keerti would say that she would get tired doing warm ups."

Kiran adds that the couple did not even turn up for the rehearsals for a few days before the second episode was shot. "They were very confident about themselves," he adds.

Incidentally, the judges were pleased with the couple in the first episode and tagged them the cute couple. Kiran has no qualms in claiming the credit for this, "It was because of my choreography that the couple was called a cute couple."

Tell Kiran that the judges claimed that his choreography lacked creativity and that it was copied from the original song and he retorts back, "They would change steps based on their friend's suggestions. They were trying to teach me instead of listening to me."

Kiran has another interesting incident to cite. He says that the couple had initially got 'Shehar Ka Jadoo' song. But the couple asked the channel to change it to 'Ishq kamina' as it was a more peppy number. Kiran also alleged that they had requested the channel not to tell that the judges about this change.

On quitting, Kiran says, "After the show, we were chatting in the vanity van. We had an argument. I told them that my name is getting spoilt and that I would like to quit. At that time, the couple said we will work together.

However, next morning, they called up and said that they were okay with me quitting. They haven't removed me; it is I who has quit. I had a very bad experience working with this pair and Keerti does not even know the A of dancing".

thats just soooo wrong! i feel bad for the choreographer

i did not like this pair's dance anyway. how can they claim they work soo hard, if all of above is true.

Sharad mentioned in the show that the choreographer had attitude problems. I guess it goes well with Kiran's version of the story. If the couple does not do what their choreographer is telling them to do then the choreographer is bound to get irritated and the couple may take it as asarrogance.

Whatever may be tha reason, by criticising the choreographer on screen, Sharad has not behaved well. I would like to see them eliminated next week.

The pair is given a choreographer so he or She can guide them and perform as per the subject. I think The SK did had that attitude, I could figure out when Kirti actually walked out with all the tantrums in the last to last episode when they were in the bot 2.

Feel bad for the choreographer. If this is the case than surely they are goin to have the same problem with this new choreographer as well.
