Ahhh... My wish list is very long and probably impossible for the makers of this show to accomplish but still, here goes:
I wish...Siddhi becomes SELFISH instead of SELFLESS, especially in regards to Kunal and her love for him. I want her to stop SACRIFICING for him, and start SUPPORTING him, without the veil of lies and deceit. I want her to stand by him and fight for her love, her marriage and her life. She has done more than enough for all the thankless people around her, now she needs to live for herself and find her happiness.
I wish...Kunal grows a BRAIN and a BACKBONE so he can learn to understand the people around him and identify who is his love and who is his enemy. Once he can differentiate between the two, I hope he can then stand up for the ones he loves and fight against the freaks of nature he is surrounded by and who have ruined his life time and again over the years. No one can help you unless you learn to help yourself so I hope Kunal stops behaving like a helpless deer caught in the headlights and be the hero we all want to see.
I wish...Abhay's sorry arse is kicked by Kunal so hard that Mr. Diwan comes to regret the day he was born. I hope Kunal makes this loser fall at Siddhi's feet and beg for forgiveness. And eventually I hope this insane creature is thrown in jail for a lifetime. Sick men like him deserve a long and a very painful death.
I wish...Richa's sorry arse also joins Abhay in jail. If Kunal really wants to prove his worth as a "gold medallist lawyer", then he should get Ms. Thakral convicted of every single crime she is guilty of, including lying, deceitfulness, attempted molestation, kidnapping and the ultimate one being murder. After she is proven guilty, the death penalty for Richa would give me immense joy.
I wish...the Anands disappear into thin air/run away/get sent to hostel/get put up for adoption. Any of the following will suffice. Anything to stop my poor eyes from witnessing the horror of their insane overacting and hearing those ridiculously lousy dialogues. I've probably liked them only once or twice in the last 5 months of their presence and I swear to God, I will definitely NOT miss having them around.
I wish...Sulekha and Veena are either eaten by an Anaconda or alternatively thrown into a tsunami/hurricane/earthquake/storm/brushfire/any other form of natural disaster. They have managed to sufficiently ruin Siddhi's life, directly and indirectly, using their own selfish motives. God will do Siddhi and the audience a HUGE favor by taking away these two heartless, cold and self-centered women, who cannot see beyond their own needs and wants and are happily willing to put another person through immense misery for their own benefit.
I wish...Raj, Gaurav, Seema, Anokhi, Ishaani go to Goa for New Years and then settle down there FOREVER! Enjoy the sun, the sand, the surf, and the SPACE. God knows how so many of you survive in that one bedroom of a 2BHK apartment. Plus, after getting rid of Veena, Raj can find himself someone else and the "hum do, hamare do" setting will save Gaurav so many different kharchas, ghar ka kharcha, paani ka kharcha, and most importantly paneer ka kharcha...Gaurav ki toh nikal padegi.
I wish...Vikram and Raveena continue to remain invisible in the show because I really do not want to deal with their crap.
Lastly,
I wish... That if not anything else, at least my first 2 wishes come true and after a decent run, this show finally ends on a good note. There is no point is dragging a show on mindlessly with the same garbage being recycled every few weeks. The story has potential to last a few more months but after that, a happy and peaceful goodbye will be welcome, instead of pointless nonsense, that only manages to seriously irritate the audience.
This would be desired wishlist for Paichay in the coming year. But knowing this is an Ekta Kapoor show, it is very unlikely that any of them will come true so I will keep my expectations at zero. May the coming year give everyone associated with Parichay, some much needed sadhbuddhi :)
