"Good News!!" They both screamed simultaneously upon seeing each other.

"I'm promoted" Khushi screamed.

"I got a new job" Arnav shouted with equal excitement.

"Oh My God, that's great" they both said feeling happy for one another.

Somewhere in him Arnav was happy that Khushi would be staying with him, from now on.

"Khushi, let's go out tonight"

"Arnav" Khushi started apologetically "I can't I have work, Sorry"

"Hi Arnav" Anjali talked on the other side of the phone.

"Hey Di"

"Are you busy tonight?"

"No, Di"

"Would you mind" Anjali hesitated a bit "joining me & Arjun for dinner tonight, at the Purple Orchid"

"You and Arjun" Arnav sounded surprised, he didn't know something was brewing between them.

"Uh yea" Anjali blushed, as Arjun came and hugged her from behind.

Khushi wore a very pretty gown, earning stares from Arnav.

"You look" Arnav sounded shy "pretty"

"Thank you" Khushi said not paying much attention to him.

"You're getting very dressed up tonight as well" Khushi remarked.

"Going somewhere"

"Uh...yea" Arnav was mesmerized by her beauty "Di & Arjun"

"Di & Arjun" Khushi looked alert staring at Arnav not believing him "Shut up"

"I know" Arnav sounded very surprised as well.

Anjali and Arjun looked very elated, sitting hand in hand.

"Where's Khushi" Anjali inquired.

"Yea, I heard she got promoted here" Arjun added.

"She was busy" Arnav's voice had traces of gloom in it.

"Hi Mike" Khushi greeted him.

"Hi" he acknowledged her back "shall we go?"

Mike was Khushi's potential client, and they were going out tonight. Khushi didn't want to tell Arnav for reason unknown to herself aswell.

Little did Khushi know, that she would land up at the same place as Arnav.

"Excuse me" Arnav excused himself to go to the restroom.

While coming back, his eyes fell on Khushi, he stood there captivated by her beauty, he was about to walk up to her when he saw Mike pulling the chair for her. Arnav was seething with anger seeing this.

"She was busy, this is how she does her work right" Arnav mumbled to himself.

He kept on stealing glances at her, and seeing her getting close to Mike made him mad.

"Bye guys" Arnav took his leave.

"Everything ok Arnav" Anjali asked.

"Yea just some important work" Arnav eyes saying something and the words out his mouth something else.

Khushi walked back into the house, and saw Arnav.

"Hey Arnav"

Arnav held her by the arms and pushed her to the wall.

"Arnav what are you doing" Khushi's voice scared.

"What the fu*k? how was your work"

"What's wrong with you Arnav?" Khushi sounded genuinely concerned.

"Oh right, there was no work, you went out with someone"

This pumped Khushi up more.

"Yea, I went out with someone, What difference does it make to you?"

"What difference does it make to me? What the fu*k do you mean by what difference does it make to me."

"What is your problem" Khushi was on the brim of crying.

"My problem, what's your problem Khushi" Arnav's voice depicting pain.

"Arnav" Khushi's tears falling out.

Arnav realized what he was doing and let go of her.

Khushi walked out the house and Arnav had no intention of stopping her.
