Manuvrat laments before the idol of Ma Durga that he cud not save the lives of those 9 young girls...he was abt to kill himself but his wife comes and stops him...Manuvrats daughter Chitra consoles him by saying that Ma Durga is there in evey particle ,she came to meet her also in disguise of old woman ...she recognised Ma Durga ...when Ma Durga can come to meet her then why she will not come if he is gonna call her from his true heart...Manuvrats got inspired by his daughters words ...and they all call Ma Durga for help ...
Danu on the other hand informs Kalikey that his horoscope says that he will achive a great thing but simultaneosly he has done sumthing which wud b the reason for the destruction of the asurs ...
Kalikey gets tensed ,he goes before the idol of devi Patalika and asks what wrong he has done...then he remembers that those 9 girls cursed him...he says he is not afraid or scared of anyone...a girl cannot kill him...he is unconquerable...
Brahma ,Vishnu ,Shiva with Devi Saraswati,devi Laxmi ,devi parvati resp ...asks Ma Durga that the time of her incarnation on earth has come ...she has to take avatar to end Kalikey...
Ma Durga says yes the time of her taking avatar has come ,she will take the avatar of the daughter of Rishi Katayani and his wife ..on earth...Rishi Katayan and his wife doing tapasya in the hImalayas for attaining Moksha...
Devtaas ask that when Rishi Katayan and his wife wants Moksha then how it wud b possible for them to have a child ...
Ma Durga says that though Rishi Katayan and his wife doing tapasya for attaining moksha but still the desire of having a child is sumwhere there in their hearts ...and till the time heart is having any kinds of desires one cannot attain moksha ...so Rishi Katayan and his wife have a strong desire of a child ...and i will b their daughter...
