Well, I had anticipated this beforehand hence I told Hermione about the joke and promised her that I would give Dobby a Hamper full of socks (all nice different colours) as a Christmas present...She seemed quite satisfied after that and hence I am still jinx-free. Though she has taken away my SPEW badge and I am on probation for the time-being. 😭 (😉)
