Ok so FINALLY i managed to catch up somewhat...only watched Arshi scenes...
Anyhow i'm going to go over Epi 16, i know i'm late, but this has to be up there as my all time fave Epi. this is the episode where ASR and RUTHLESS become synomous, the episode where Khushi saves her self-respect and the only episode in which she takes a step toward him when he moves forward. One of the biggest milestones int he show, so i couldn't not put my 2 cents in and thanks for the encouragement @Indy52 and Katelyn :) here it goes!
the first 5 mins are filled with so much dhamakas, its hard to believe that only 5 mins had passed
1st dhamaka: ASR finds Khushi under his desk...BOOM!
2nd dhamaka: Khushi realizes she works for the same rakshas, she's been trying proove herself to...BOOM!
3rd Dhamaka: intense scene and dialoguebaazi starts
ASR: ...tum jaa sakti ho, kya hua? aadat se majboor ho? jab tak beizzati nahi karunga nahi jaaogi? ...BOOM!
Scared but angry, Khushi dares to fire back " ...jaise Raja vaisi praja, yaha rahe ke to aap jaisa to bilkul nahi ban na"...BOOM!
apearently ASR can dish it out but can't handle it
"I SAID GET OUT!!!!!"
She is ready to leave, but the moment she puts her papers down, why does he stop her? was it something from within or was it just an arrogant jerk hellbent on humiliating her or crushing her ??
in the shocking moments that follow, sensing her fear he walks toward her, for his every step forward, she takes a step back, he knew what was coming
FInally, he has her just where he wants her, fear in her eyes and power in hands
He asks her to choose, be under more of his ehsaan (favours) or keep her self respct, she chooses self-respect (go khushi!), to which ASR responds "Bhool gaya tha mein, girna tumhari fidrat mein hai" (what a line man!!!) so without a single human emotion on his face, his cold eyes watch wihtout a blink as he lets her go and she falls.
Khushi...hurt, humiliated and in disbelief
ASR...victorious, powerful and proud
Its hard to believe that this will ever turn in to a love story and a beautiful one at that!
I was happy to see Lavanya has some concern for Khushi, "itna bhi kya gusaa" but her love for ASR refrains her from showing any concerns for his enemy.she is happy to get rid of chamkiliy and give her termination letter. Khushi thinks of all that she and her family has had to endure since she crossed paths with this guy, and puts her foot down "Iss baar hum chup nahin rahenge!" She storms into his meeting, where her presence initially seems to bother everyone but ASR.
He lets her vent, even gives her a second chance to vent, again he steps towards her but THIS time she also steps toward him (I wanted to stand up and clap for Khushi when she did that 😃👏) All she wants is to finish the work she started so she can pay him back, he agrees but she has dared to challenge him and she will pay. so a contract is signed, if she quits, she has to pay the company 100,000.
"Welcome to Hell" he says, as he know he will not play fair b/c there is no way he will lose his name Arnav Singh Raizada, as per the rules if she wins...
Major props to Sarun and the LM for making this episode and scene so memorable and amazing. both Sanaya and Barun were just Brilliant, Sanay made us root for her and Barun made us dispise him! (did i just say that?) I am such fan of both now, can't wait to see them excel in their careers. after this show, they are ready for anything!
