A-list actresses constantly play the Me First game

A Me First game has Bollywood divas abuzz.Some of these girls are actually spreading the word that theyre the potential first choices for practically every film that goes on the floors,much to the chagrin of other actresses.
The most recent instance was the news doing the rounds that Katrina Kaif was the first choice for Anurag Kashyaps Bombay Velvet.This eventually led Anurag to retort,I locked Anushka Sharma right after Band Baaja Baaraat came out.She was the only choice when I made one.So,Katrinas current date issues is all a made-up story. Katrina refuted these charges.She said,I dont speak about my film till I start shooting for it.
However,something like this has happened so often,that the heroines finally picked for the film force their directors to issue clarifications on their behalf as it makes them look bad.Most recently,the director of Rajinikanthstarrer Kochadaiyaan had to come out with an official statement that Deepika Padukone was the films first choice after the actress brought certain media reports to their notice.
Now,all this seems extremely un-classy.As one star noted with disdain,A-list stars only talk about films that they do,never about the films they could not do.Aamir,SRK or Salman never speak about films they didnt do.There is a certain professionalism which one is expected to display at this level of stardom.
Another actress said,Each film is offered to several actresses and thats a sad reality.What matters is, who is ultimately doing the film.

Vidya gets an exclusion here as what she does mostly requires loads of talent which many of the A-listers simply don't have!
